Its simple as copying file from one drive to other drive or one folder to other folder.

Step 1). just insert your memory stick to your systems USB port.

Step 2). double click on My Computer icon.

it will open my computer window. In this window you will find the icon for your memory stick. Just double click on that icon it will be open.

And simply you can copy whichever folder or file you want to copy to your computer.

Thanks
Iqbal

Transfer your data over from the old hard drive to the new computer

The easiest way is to connect the old hard drive to an USB adapter case and make it an USB external hard drive. Connect this to the USB port on your new computer, the computer will see the external hard drive as an External storage device. You can then open the various folder on the hard drive and copy the files to your new computer.
You can delete all the unnecessary folders and files off the old hard drive and use it as a backup storage device.

Tip

Make a back up of your music on an external Hard Drive or Flash Drive

Copy iTunes folder to your external hard drive
To copy all the items in your iTunes library (including the iTunes Library file that holds all your playlists, playcounts, ratings, and other data) to your external hard drive, follow these steps:

Quit iTunes.
Locate your external hard drive.
Mac: On the desktop or Finder sidebar.
Windows: In My Computer
Locate your iTunes folder:
By default, the iTunes folder is located in:
Mac OS X: /Users/username/Music
Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Music\
Windows Vista or Windows 7: \Users\username\My Music\
If the iTunes folder is not in the default location listed above then you can find where the iTunes folder is located by following these instructions:

Open your iTunes Preferences:
Mac: Choose iTunes > Preferences.
Windows: Choose Edit > Preferences.
Click Advanced.
The location of your iTunes folder will be listed in iTunes Media folder location box, as pictured below.

Drag the iTunes folder to your external hard drive. This can take a while if you have a lot of items.

When the transfer is complete, your iTunes Library will have been successfully copied to your external hard drive.

Converting Movies To Psp Fomat

Hey again, this is a real quick guide for anyone interested to get a movie onto there PSP without all the fluff i have seen elsewhere. I just watched africa the Serengeti on my PSP and heres is the lowdown.

Movie- approx 40 minutes - dvd Saved to hard drive - 2.6GIG - using DVD Decryptor (free program) try google
Transfered to avi format - 377MB-using Super
DVD Ripper (9 FREE trial uses) then you must buy
Traansfered to MP4 -37MB -using the (basically free) Image Convertor 2

Average movie breakdown - using above as a guide only.
so im guessing the average movie may be 4.5gig for example sved to 800MB
CONVERTED TO 70-80MB

Ok use DVD decryptor to save the movie to your hard drive eg. C:\africa (it wil save it for you as described) when completed find the folder c:\africa on your computer and find the vob file in that folder - generally the largest one and right click and play it with your dvd program to see what part it is. If its the correct movie part you now know thats the one you need.

Once you have located the vohb file you want to transfer open DVD Ripper and go to wizard icon. There you will see an icon of VOB to AVI button. Click it and then it wil ask to locate the file. Locate the file and click it. It will SCAN THE FILE (just wait till that finishes) a parameter box opens next and just click the arrow. It then askes for file compression - choose microsoft windows media and then click ok Then press the start button. It will now convert the vob into avi format. (there are also other opions ie;dvd to avi etc) I have only used the vob to avi for this test.

After DVD ripper has transferred the file it will save it to the same folder as the original movie was in eg: c:\africa\viteots. Open the file and you will now see an AVI icon containing the movie.

Make sure you PSP is on and in usb mode then open Image converter 2 and press on movie / add to list. For this example i click on c:drive the found the folder Africa and opened it and there was my converted AVI file. Click the file press ok and it will be transfered to your PSP for viewing pleasure.

*****Note***** i only converted one VOB file as thats all there was for this particular movie. If you have more then one vob file you may need toi try the dvd to avi when you rip. This is just smallest possible file so you can get value out of a 512 card.

Good luck!

How do I transfer pictures from PC onto flash bar?

Hi Cheryl,

This is a fairly simple procedure if I am understanding your query correctly.
Assuming that the 'flash bar' in question is a standard USB flash memory stick, firstly click on "My computer". This will show you a view of all hard drives and CD/DVD drives installed in your PC.
Next, insert your flash drive into any USB port. Your PC will now detect the flash stick and will add a new icon to 'My computer' which represents your flash stick.
Take note of the drive letter assignment given to the flash drive, eg. "Removable drive E"
Now browse to your pictures you would like to transfer and right-click on the picture. This will open a drop-down menu and from here you simply select the "Send to" option from the drop-down menu.
It will now present you with a sub-menu from which you select your flash stick. ie. "Removable drive X", X being whatever letter your PC has assigned to the flash drive.

Please feel free to message me should you need any further clarification. I will gladly reply with further explanations.

Best wishes,
Graemevm

How do i download memory from 1 memory stick 2 another?

I'll presume you are referring to a 1 gb flash drive.
You can plug both flash drives into USB ports and just "drag and drop" from one to another.
If you have only 1 USB port available plug in the drive with the data. Create a folder on your desktop (Righ click on desktop, select NEW, Folder) and give it a name like "Flash backup"
Open the flash drive and highlight all the files and copy or move them to the newly created folder. Remove the flash drive and insert the drive you want to copy the data to and again highlight the data in the folder and copy it to the new flash drive

I have a PC Dell Dimension 2400 with a hard 40 GB

Basically when you install a new boot drive you need to install Windows operating system on the new hard drive, also the device drivers (eg video, audio, modem, LAN etc), your programs and data. The reason programs has to be installed is because the installation process copied DLL files to the System folders and makes changes to the registry.
You can only copy your data onto the new hard disk.
To avoid copying your data to the new hard drive, you can set up the old hard drive as second hard drive (ie. slave drive), if you delete the redundant folders and leave only the data folders then you have an adddition 40Gb of disk space.

I have a Ge Intelligent stick I backed up my taxes on it and now is says it is unformatted although it says that it is full if I reformatt it will I lose all my information or how can I get the information...

if you format the stick it will wipe all data off , and still may not work,

if you can get into your "unintelligent" stick ,save the data back to a folder on your desktop, and then replace the stick,
so cheap these days,Though
i suspect the stick has gone to stick-heaven along with your data.

it may be wise in the future to save your data to the hard drive as well as in other places, that way if one fails the other is ok
.
in fact the software package you are using may do this by default ,check it out.

good luck
Terry
