You have two sides to your 67006531 Dual Water Inlet Valve, so it is very possible the side that controls the water flow for the dispenser is defective. Replace the 67006531 Dual Water Control Valve and I believe your fridge water will work fine.
I will be here should you have more questions, Thanks Sea Breeze
Pull the fridge out and look behind it. You're looking for the water line that could possibly have valve shutoff. If not, follow the line back to the source. Could be tapped under the sink, could go anywhere. You are attempting to shut off water to the fridge without shutting water off to entire home. Worst case scenario is if you can't locate the fridge shutoff and you can't get it fixed today and you don't want to leave the freezer door open, locate the main water shutoff for the house and shut it off over night. Hope this helps.
We have an Electrolux Wave Touch with the same problem.
1 yr later, 3 new fridges, 1 new freezer door and no solution.
Yes, the line is clearly frozen inside the door.
Disconnect waterline at bottom of freezer door and activate solenoid - then you know for sure.
It is possible the water line inside the freezer door froze . Remove the bottom kick plate and follow the white tubing about 6" to a coupling . Push in on the white ring and at the same time , pullout on the tubing . Push the water dispensor , and if water comes out of the hose going under the fridge , this means the line is frozen in the door . If no water comes out , it means the water tank at the bottom of the fridge section (behind crispers ) is probably frozen . A hair dryer should work on the tank , but , a different procedure will be needed to thaw the door . Come back if door is frozen for the procedure .
turn the freezer side to zero fridge side will zero also . click for water it should work . just worked for me no water for 1month replaced the filter and everything.
Please advise where the dispenser is leaking? If it is dripping out the front of the door, then I suggest you run the water dispenser to flush about 3 liters of water. Does the noise stop when you open the fridge door?
