Question about Computers & Internet
If your system freezes along with the Outlook 2007 it is probably due to a need for system maintenance.
If it is only Outlook that freezes, it may be due to hard drive space (Outlook defaults to a cached mode which brings the mail to your drive from your email server).
System maintenance is different on each operating system.
On XP the process is:
Type cleanmgr stageset:1
Check of the boxes for temporary files, Recycle bin, downloaded program files, etc.
The check the available space on your hard drive. It should be at least 20% of the total drive space.
This is found by right clicking on the Local Disk C: and selecting properties.
This if found under accessories or by choosing Run, defrag.exe
If these things do not help, please respond with details fo the steps you have taken and the point at which the freeze occurs. Also, let me know if it is a system freeze or just Outlook.
