Question about Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router
Odd, when I run my computer through the modem, no problem getting on-line. When I connect the router, can't connect. Both router and modem were working fine, then my phone lines were accidently cut. After new phone lines were installed, at&t had me disconnect the router and go only through the modem. This works fine - however when I connect the router, no connection. Cable from computer to port 1 & Cable from modem to router (internet). HELP
Make sure that your computer is able to go online through the modem.
If your computer is not able to go online through the modem then you will need to call ISP first.
If your computer is able to go online through the modem
then you need to connect the computer to the router and the modem to the router.
open the set up page of the router and change the settings of the router according to the ISP.
