after unloadig and puttig the machine on it's front to check things underneath, I tries again and this time I get 100000010 error code. It seems that wahtever cycle it is in, it is intermittant. i.e. the water fills on and off or the pump will start and stop. I looked up the error code on the sheets you referred me to ( thank you btw) and now I get the above erroe message. Can you help me?

i looked at thr waher and the error lights are different after I looked underneath. the code is now 100000010. It refers to the rotor posistion sensor but I would like to find a diagarm that points out what parts I am looking at. Can you recommend a site or do you have a diagram that would help me out? Or do you know what the fix is to this error message? Thanks.

Hi,

There would be a Diagnostic Sheet inside the Machine as well. As far as you want Diagnostic Code List for this Model, you would get it from ;-

http://www.docstoc.com/docs/25379715/Fisher-_-Paykel-Washer-Diagnostic-Fault-Codes

If you want Schematics for this Model, refer to ;-

http://www.docstoc.com/docs/25379677/Fisher-and-Paykel-Circuit-Diagram-GWL11/

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

    Thanks for your response!!

Regarding Schematic, Check my first Comment that i sent. Initially i sent you the Schematics.Rotor sensor is attached 2 motor windings and detects position of motor
    and speed of motor.

    Complete Explanation of Error

    (10000010) Phase 1 to 6 Single Rotor
    Position Sensor Error

The Motor Controller has found an error in
the pattern received from the Rotor Position Sensor.
    Likely causes
of this fault are a bad connection on the harness between the Rotor
    Position Sensor
and the Motor Controller, or a faulty Rotor
    Position Sensor.

    Primary Source: Wiring.

    Action:

    1)
Check for corrosion on the edge connector of the Rotor Position Sensor
and the Motor Controller module connector.
    2) Check the
contacts on the rotor positional sensor end of the hall harness to see
if any have been damaged. (Each set of contacts in the socket has two
wipers. If the distance between these wipers varies between different
contacts, replace the rotor positional sensor harness).
    Secondary
    Source: Rotor Position Sensor.

    Action:

    Check the Rotor
Position Sensor with an R.P.S. tester.
    Replace if faulty.
    Tertiary
    Source: Motor Controller module.

    Action:

    Replace Motor
    Controller module.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

    Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

Most possibly be Error code 56,
Is common in 11 series machines & early series 12.
Is your machine beeping & showing a weird pattern of lights on the wash cycle, It is displaying an error code,
To read this error code you start at the red spin light & work to the left only add up the lights that are on. Red spin light = 1 2nd rinse light =2 1st rinse light =4 last wash light=8 4th wash light=16 3rd wash light=32 2nd wash light=64 1st wash light=128

Washer will not go through spin cycle just puts water in tub then will constantly beep

Hi just read your posting. When the machine stops and beeps an error code will appear. In the models with an LCD screen it will tell you what the code is.On machines without an LCD screen a series of lights will light up. The lit lights will be in a row of 8 lights.Starting from the left to right which lights are lit when the machine beeps? Is it the 2nd and 4th or the 3rd and 6th ----etc----?Please reply with additional information on the error code and I can help you rectify this fault.

Our Fisher Paykel start beeping after the first wash cycle. The first wash light is off and the cold and hot lights blink. Book says must be a water intake issue, but I replaced two intake faucets and...

When you replaced the faucets if you mean the solonoids they must be twelve volt. But From left to right tell us what lights are on for a fault code diagnosis.Cheers.
