First, see the Sears Parts site for your washer:

http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/getModel!retrieve.pd?modelNumber=110.16512690&pathTaken=partSearch

Look at the section for the "Rear Panel".

It sounds like a leaking "Water Inlet Valve".

See the following Whirlpool / Kenmore Service Manual for these washers with a component testing section.

https://secured.whirlpool.com/Service/SrvTechAdm.nsf/2cd44500d572193285256a45004fd9d6/f7e2147fa98b28cf85257122007475cb/$FILE/L-55.pdf

Also see the following for how to access the console, remove the cabinet and get access to the rear panel.

http://www.american-appliance.com/catalog/newsdesk_info.php?newsPath=16&newsdesk_id=131&osCsid=4d62f2601c82e70e43ff0ef2f0787361

The "Manufacturer Authorized Substitution" numbers are Whirlpool numbers, meaning that you can likely get a replacement valve at many local appliance repair parts stores as well as from Sears.

I have a Kenmore series 80 Model 110 washer that drips inot the tub after the cycle. It's not a problem if I get the clothes out immediately. The leak seems to be getting worse. Any ideas on a solution?

Replace the water inlet valve on the back where the water hoses connect to the washer. It isn't sealing good. You may have to remove the top to access it.

I have a Model GSL9365EQ2. It has a slow drip

Take the drain hose out of the regular drain and lower it to gravity drain into a bucket, pan, or floor drain if available. Turning the water off should not have prevented the machine from starting. The drip is likely coming from a leaking solenoid water valve at the rear of the machine where the hoses connect. Replace the valve assembly after removing the cabinet top and maybe the cabinet back panel. Make sure to remove the power if you are going to do the work. Hope this helps!

Drips from center of front cover when filling at 3-4 inches

after carefully reading this, the leak is at the machines water valves, or from them to hose to tub.

Dishwasher tub leaks underneath

Hello. Anything is worth trying! But I would recommend epoxy. It works alot better with plastic and rubber items. Most of the leaks I have found in Kenmore machines are at the water pump. You may want to take a peek while it's running, just stay away from the wires!! Thanks!

Fisher & Paykel GWL08 top load washer appears a crack in the inside water dispenser

With the lid open, you'll see two white plastic plugs on the top front lip of machine. Pry them up with fingernail to reveal screws to remove. Take care not to let top flop back as plastic tabs may break.

underneath the agitator is a graphite seal ring and nut that seals the inner tub and the outer tub. a suitable spanner wrench or a 6 inch channel lock plier will remove this locknut. replace the seal.
