It seems to be stuck on low heat and will not go on to high no matter what we try

Instructions
1.Remove the faceplate around your stereo. Slip a flat object under the edge and gently pry it up. A flat-head screwdriver works well. There will be clips holding the faceplate in place, so feel for them. You may need to move your faceplate up or down to slide it out of position.
2.Find and remove any screws holding the stereo in place.
3.Slide the stereo component out far enough to see the label on top of the stereo. Write down the model and serial numbers of your car stereo component.
4.Locate your VIN number at the base of the front window, driver side. If you can't read your VIN off the window, you will have it on your proof of insurance and title as well. Write it down.
5.Locate your car manufacturer's toll-free Customer Service number and call them. Click on the link in the Resource section of this article and find your car manufacturer's toll-free number.
6.Call the number and let customer service know you need your stereo code and have the vehicle's VIN number, as well as the model and serial numbers off the stereo. They will provide you with the code. If you are unsure how to input the code, be sure to ask for support at this time.

Can I retrieve the radio code with the Odyssey vin number? The code is not in the glove. I do not have the manual.

No, the stereo unlock code cannot be retrieved with the VIN.

You can get the unlock code for free from any Honda Dealer. You will need to give them the stereo serial number from the back of the stereo or written on a card (or possibly the manual) provided when the vehicle was new. If the dealer removes the stereo to retrieve the serial number they will charge around $100.

DANGER: Do not try to enter the code randomly! The stereo will lock out after 10 incorrect attempts.

We had a new engine put into our ford focus and now the stereo is asking for a code but we dont know what it is and ford say they will charge £25 for this where can i get one for free or a lot...

You need to get the serial number from the side of the stereo which should be something like Mxxxxxx (the x being numbers).
I can get your code for you if you post the stereo serial number here.

I dont have radio code of civic 2005

Look through the glove box for what looks like a white credit card, the "Code card". The code can be four or five digits depending on automobile and stereo. Many times, dealerships write the code on a piece of tape or label and may place it in one of several areas. On one of the sides of the glove box, on the bottom of the ash tray, in the trunk on the trunk lid, in the trunk on the bottom of the package shelf, or in one of the door jams. Check the owners manual, the code may be written in on the stereo pages, one of the covers or other pages by the previous owner. On rare occasions, the code may be written on the stereo.
However, if this does not help, your local dealership parts or service dept can retrieve the code if they are given the serial number of the stereo. There are two possible ways to find the serial number. One, remove the stereo and locate the serial number from one of the labels on the stereo. Two, with the stereo off, push and hold preset radio button 1 and 6 while turning the stereo on, four digits should appear in the display for several seconds followed by four more digits, this is your stereo serial number.

Whats the code number

Stereo Code Cards are usually located in the glove box. The code card looks like a credit card. Your local dealership should be able to retrieve the stereo code from the VIN of your vehicle. Or the serial number of the stereo may be needed. Most parts dept. will help at no charge.
