Question about Sony PlayStation® 3 (60 GB) Console
Recently my ps3 stopped reading discs. The icon comes up that it is reading disc(spinning circle top left of screen) but nothing actually happens. So i restored the whole ps3,still no luck . I then swapped the disc drive from an old ps3 which i definately knew worked and put it into the one that is not reading discs and it is still doing the same thing. Having done this i am assuming it is not a fault in the disc drive. Does anyone know anything else it might be bearing in mind i have already restored it. Thanks
YOUR drive is not reading or the disk is dirty
1. Wash the disk in warm water and dish soap
2. dry with a microfiber towel or cotton towel.
3.if this doesn't work you have a malfunctioning drive and it needs to be replaced
