How do i print screeen on a hp laptop that doesent have a print screen button?

This basic screen-capture utility lacks advanced features, but it works just fine and costs nothing. The tabbed configuration screen gives you options for capturing your entire desktop, the active window, or user-defined area.

I can't make a print screen on my pavilion dv4

Usually on laptops, you need to press a secondary key at the ame time.
Do you have a 'Fn' (Function) button?
If so, press Fn+PrtSc at the ame time.

I have a HP laptop I like to printscrren couple of page How can I do it please !

On a laptop, the print screen button is designated by "prt sc" or "prt scn" -- look for a button in the upper right portion of your keyboard. You will need to press and hold the the Function (usually "fn") key then tap (press and release) the button with the designation for print screen on it. This takes a "snapshot" of whatever is on your entire screen and temporarily saves it to the clipboard (like a "copy" does when you copy and paste something). If you wish to just capture the active window, hold the Function key, hold the alt key, then tap the print screen key. This only works on some laptops, not all. The easiest way to get to the picture you just created is to open the program Paint. Once open, press and hold ctrl (control) and tap "v" - this will paste the snapshot of the screen or window. You can crop, circle things, etc in Paint, then save the file or print it.

Where is the print screen on my laptop HP Pavillion DV7?! I can't seem to find it!!!

If you mean the "print screen" hot key, most computers have two keys to hold down to capture the screen image that can then be "pasted" onto an image processing program. Usually "fn" or "shift" and one other key usually marked with "Prnt Scrn".

If you're talking about printing a document or photo, there isn't a "print screen". You have to be in a program...WORD, PhotoShop, etc...and use the "print" function accessed via the "file" menu at the upper left edge of the toolbar.

How do i print screen i have hp laptop i have done it on a desk top but i can't do on this

Hi derekashwoor

The way thats it's done on a desktop is the same as on a laptop.
The differrence between the laptop keyboard is that you might have to press a function key and the print screen button at once to activate it.

Function key: fn
Print screen button: prt sc

Once you have done that correctly, then you go to paint in accesories and go to edit in the menu and click paste.

Let me know if your running Vista, because with vista there is an easier way...
