Question about Philips SA5125/37 MP3 Player
I ACCIDENTLY HIT THE SHUFFLE BUTTON ON MY MP3 PLAYER AND THEN IT STARTED TO LOAD TO 99% AND IT WOULDN'T GO THROUGH SO I PLUGED IN MY CHARGER AND THEN TOOK IT BACK OUT SO I WENT TO MY SONGS BUT I DIDN'T SEE THE NAME OF THE SONGS THAT I DOWNLOADED INSTEAD I SAW SOME CHINESE KIND OF LETTERS AND I TRIED TO PLAY IT BUT IT WOULDN'T PLAY
If player is off and disconnected from PC,
1) Open up Philips Device Manager (Start --> All Programs --> Philips) - if you don't see it, then re-run the installation CD or grab the "Device/Firmware Manager" from the Philips website
2) Click on the Repair Tab, and look for a msg that says connect the player while holding the volume + button
3) Disconnect the GoGear from the computer and turn the GoGear off (if you haven't done so already) - hold in the volume + button and continue to hold it as you reconnect the GoGear to the computer; after holding the volume + button for up to 20 or 30 seconds, a window will open up saying that your device is being repaired (now you can let go of the volume + button); after the repair is successfully complete, your GoGear will be good as new
You will now be able to load the firmware upgrade by clicking on the update tab in Philips Device Manager. The firmware upgrade should resolve the issue permanently.

If a green light is flashing on the player the shuffle button in the middle of the player is being pressed changing the players mode from continuous play to shuffle mode. To activate the player to listen to music you must hold the power button down on the right side of the player for about 3 seconds.
