Question about KitchenAid KSRB22FKSS Side by Side Refrigerator
If your fridge side is warm and the freezer side is still cold you almost always have a defrosting problem. you can check the back wall of the freezer to see if ice is forming there and behind the back wall. if it is real thick you have a defrost problem. you can ohm out the heater just check to see if it has continuity the deforst thermistat(also called a bi-metal) is bad it will usually be popped up on one end. and lastly if your defrost timer is bad you can manually advance it with a straight screwdriver until it clicks and the fans stop. if the fridge starts defrosting you know the timer is bad
