Question about SanDisk Sansa e250 MP3 Player

1 Answer

Sansa e250 I would try this, however when I plug the e250 in it doesn't not register it. If the mp3 is off, it starts doing its weird on/off cycles, but it doesn't come up on My Computer and doesn't give me the whole "This device can run fast on 2.0 USB connection." It has never done this before.

What i would recommend you to do is to uninstall the device and reinstall it back...tou uninstall it...assuming that you are running windows xp...click on start, right click on my computer and go to properties..you should have your system properties open then click under hardware then device manager...look for the sansa device..it usually located under portable device..if its not showing there i would recommend you to look for under disk drives and see if its there..right click on the device and click on uninstall...after you unintall it unplug your device from the computer and check to usb mode..it has to be under MTP mode or auto....after you check the mode open up your windows media player click on tools, options and click under privacy...clear the history and caches...after you finish you can plug the device on the back of the computer not the front then windows should recongnize it and it should work properly..if that doesnt solve the problems upgrade your windows mediaSansa e250 - 1.gif player to 11 even though you have done that already.. For the driver..go to http://www.sandisk.com/DriverDownload/index.asp and find the driver for your device... I hope that helps...
Please rate accordingly
Thank You

Sansa e270

Try; plugging your mp3player in, open my computer, open Sansa-something, look in the video folder, delete the ones that don't work [they may have been corrupted]

Next time you unplug your mp3 player click the little icon in the "tray" in the bottom right corner and click Stop.

Good luck.

Won't play the songs i put into my sansa e250

You might have to take the product back because you might of corrupted it. I corrupted mine just recently and I had the same problem. If you decide to get another one, don't unplug the MP3 before it's done saving.
