Try starter fluid in the chamber and see if it starts. If so, you may need to clean your carb.

Tiller won t start

The fact that it started for any length of time, tells you the engine functions. The engine is STARVED of fuel mixture. Either the inside fuel line is clogged and needs to be blown out or the carbonator adjustment is incorrect. Check to see that the spark plug GAP is proper and when placed back into the engine it is hand tight with the spark plug wire formly in place.

Starts but dies after few seconds

Probably start by checking spark plug and gas filter. If these look good or have been replaced recently may need to clean carb.

Ryobi Tiller, model RY60511A, will not start. Air

mine was a total pain. I yanked on the rope so many times, it flew out of the keeper, and when I replaced it I ran it UNDER the fuel tank cutting a slot in tank. I also blew out the primer bulb. AFTER the replacement tank I arrived, I discovered rolling the machine forward helped the flow to carb and did not require priming. Now I need to fix throttle cable. But all in all, a tough little machine.

Tiller won't start unless you spray carb.cleaner in carb. air horn, then it dies.

It sounds like it is not getting fuel on it's own in order to operate. I would take a look at the diaphragm. The diaphragm may be bad or torn and leaking air. There are also a couple of small air inlet ports behind the diaphragm. I usually use a small paperclip and make sure the ports are clear. Hope this helps and good luck.
