Need abetter graphic card for acer aspire 5251

in Acer Aspire Series is using Intergrated Graphic Card.
that mean if you wanna Upgrade your Graphic Resolution,
you have to set to a bigger shared memory/RAM for Display Graphic Card/VGA memory from BIOS Setup.
for example if you using RAM 2Gb, and you can make your VGA(Video Graphic Adapter) to 1Gb.
But in My Computer Properties the RAM will Show only 1Gb.
Because another 1Gb of RAM you've use for VGA.
you can check it from dxdiag.
(for opening dxdiag > Click Start > click RUN... > type dxdiag > and Oke/Enter)

I have an Acer Aspire T180 and would like to upgrade the memory and add a wi-fi card. can you advise what cards I need to purchase?

Memory:
Looks like the Aspire T180 takes DDR2 533/667/800 memory. This is pretty easy to upgrade. Check to see how many memory slots your computer has (Probably 4, might only have 2). You should probably just replace what you have with new memory.
I recommend this memory:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231122
It is 2x 2GB modules. 4GB of RAM is a good amount of RAM to have, you will see a noticeable performance increase.

WiFi:
I would recommend a USB wifi adaptor. It is easy to instal and most ones work well, even the cheap ones. Just stick it in the back of your computer and forget it it's even there.

I recommend this one, I have been using it for 2 years and have had no problems.

How can i allocate more memory to video card of acer aspire 5100

You can only do that with onboard video cards. If you have an onboard you can choose how much ram to assign to it in your bios settings. However it is limited and if you already have 128 assigned to it, that's probably about all it's gonna give ya. But hey it never hurts to check Assigning your physical memory to your graphics card will result a shortage of your total system memory and your whole system will slow down a bit.
Video cards meant for better processing the graphical content of your system and free up your system's physical memory.[via]
So, if you buy a new and better video card with more memory you will have a fast system with better performance.

How do I find my graphics card on acer laptop 4720z and change settings to best play games

* The system configuration of Acer Aspire 4720Z PC Notebook is :

160 GB or larger hard disk drive / 5-in-1 card reader / 512 MB or 1GB DDR2 533 MHz DIMM module / Intel Pentium dual-core mobile processor technology T2310 (1 MB L2 cache, 1.46, 533 MHz FSB), Mobile Intel GL960 Express Graphics Chipset.

* Your system have "Mobile Intel GL960 Express Graphics Chipset" graphics accelerator card embedded in the motherboard. Like most of the laptops/notebooks, there is no room for upgrading the graphics card in the motherboard!

* But you can upgrade the RAM upto 2 GB using two DDR2 DIMM memory modules.

* If you want to play 3D games with better performance, switch to Windows XP SP2 and upgrade the RAM!

* If you want to upgrade the memory (RAM), you can check this site : http://www.laptoppartsexpert.com/c-60093-acer-aspire-4720-series-as4720z.html

please rate this advice if it helps...tc! :)

Im trying to fix up my wife's Dell Inspiron B130 instead of buying a new computer. what is the best processor, and video card upgrade i can do?

You don't want to upgrade the cpu. As for the video card it can't be changed as its build into the laptop motherboard.

I would highly recommend that you instead upgrade the ram memory on the laptop since it will give you a bigger performance increase than a new cpu or video card.

The machine only has 256MB of ram, get atleast 512MB or 1024 /1gb of ram and it will work much better.

Want to update my graphics base score nvidia geforce 7000m asus aspire 5520

I'm assuming this is on a laptop? Upgrades to laptops can be tricky. If you're lucky you can upgrade your RAM and allocate more memory to the video from your bios, but even then the upgrade is minimal. Your video card is actually part of your motherboard, as such you would have to upgrade the entire board to upgrade the video card... and at that point you're better off getting a new laptop.

Ram Upgrade Problem

There is nothing wrong and your install is OK.
The laptop has used some of the RAM as video RAM for the video card that is part of the motherboard.
You should have noticed that with a single 512Mb RAM you would not have the full 512Mb RAM available to you, the video has grabbed 128Mb of RAM.

Video memory upgrade for an Acer Aspire 5100.

Sorry, but if it has intergrated video as you say then video card is NOT upgradable, simply because it does not have a card (It is intergrated into motherboard). That unit can take up to 4GB of ram 2GBX2 DDR2 PC25300 200pin SODIMM $56.00@ crucial.com. It is able to share an dditional 256mb of memory from system for a total of 512mb memory on video. With a little research u should also be able to upgrade the cpu.
Hope this helps good luck,
Dave

Suitable graphics card which would enable me to play games

The problem is that you can't just Upgrade the video card in a portable like you can a desktop system.

Upgrading the video would require a new motherboard with discrete graphics. VERY few portable system have upgradeable video without major cost (Usually cheaper to sell system and buy one configured as you need it) which is my recommendation if that system will not perform as you desire.

Generally, upgrades on portrable systems are limited to MEMORY, HARD DRIVES and plug in components like wireless cards, modems etc.
