Question about Yamaha RX-V2092
I have bose acoustimass 10 connected. They have been connected for 3 years. I went on vacation for 3 weeks and when I got back I realized my receiver was still on. I left it on during my vacation. About a week later when I turned the system on I realized there was no sound coming from the front left and right main speakers. Could something inside the receiver have burned out?
No, the yamaha system would shut down if the amplifiers had a problem. I would check the bose system, try directly hooking the speakers to the mains in stead of thru the bose system if you can. the easy way to check the amps is to plug in a set of head phone in they are directly tied to the mains.
