I cant see the pic on pc
I'm sorry that the Camera is not recognized by the Computer. Unfortunately, knowing the Operating System is the key element in providing troubleshooting the PC connection. However, I will give you the troubleshooting steps which is general for the compatible Operating Systems for the Camera:
The compatible Operating Systems are as follows:
Windows 2000 Professional
Mac OS X
Please follow the below troubleshooting steps below if your Computer is installed with any of the above mentioned Operating System. Please note that other Operating Systems are not compatible with your Camera.
Please make sure that the connections are secure. Prior to making any adjustments, first ensure you've firmly connected your Camera's USB cable into the USB port on your PC.
Power off and disconnect your Camera from your computer.
Restart your computer.
After your computer is rebooted, connect your camera to your computer using the USB cable provided. Note: Connect your camera to an alternate USB port, preferably on the back of your computer.
Select MTP instead of default PC from the USB select screen appears on the LCD screen after connect the Camera to the Computer.
If the issue persists, please check the Device Manager driver conflicts by following the steps:
Connect the camera to the computer with the USB cable.
Turn on the camera.
Open the Device Manager of the operating system.
Windows 2000 - Right-click the My Computer icon, left-click Properties , left-click the Device Manager tab.
XP: Right-click the My Computer icon, left-click Properties , left-click the Hardware tab, left-click the Device Manager button.
Windows Vista: Click the Start button, click Control Panel , click System and Maintenance , click the Device Manager button.
Windows 7: Click the Start button, click Control Panel , click Hardware and Sound , under Devices and Printers , click Device Manager. You may try the steps before give up even if the Operating System is Windows 7 as it supports many cameras with default driver.
In the Device Manager window, at the left of Universal Serial Bus controllers , click the PLUS (+) symbol.
Under Universal Serial Bus controllers , right-click Sony DSC or USB Mass Storage Device to display the drop-down menu.
In the drop-down menu, click Uninstall or Remove.
In the Confirm Device Removal dialog box, click the OK button.
Restart the computer.
Follow any on-screen instructions to complete reinstallation of the USB driver.
If the issue persists, reset the Camera by removing the battery for more than one minutes and check the operation.
