Hi I was saving a business card as a PDF file so I could email to someone, and now I am unable to access it as the computer says I can't support that format. In the interim, I'm afraid I may have accidentally erased the business card. Can you help me get it back in the correct format?
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Ever come across a webpage that you would like to save on your computer for future use? I do all the time when surfing the web for home and car repairs. If you try to save the webpage you will notice that you will not be able to save it in the easy to use PDF format. Simply GooglePrimoPDF and download the freeware, and in minutes you'll be able to save and email documents in PDF format.
Primo is very easy to use. PrimoPDF will actually show up as a Printer option. So if you want to save my tip for future use just select Print from your file menu, change printer to PrimoPDF pick the location you want to save it in, and click Create PDF. PrimoPDF also offers you the option to email the PDF you just created. Cool, eh?
For those in the business world, you may want to check out PrimoPDF Pro.
In most cases, you want to scan to file and save the file in a folder of your choice. I have a 7310 xi all in one and I have a folder on my desktop named scans. When I scan a pic or document I save it as a jpg (pic) file or a PDF (document) file to that folder. Then when I email someone, I attach the file using the attach button on the email page.
Could you save your reports previously to send seperately? If so what format did you save your reports in? Are you receiveing any error message when you try to save your reports? If so what is it?
A quick work around is if you install a free pdf programme - Cutepdf comes to mind, you can then set to print your reports in cutepdf, save as a pdf file and email them... If you need to do this, I can talk you through it in more detail.
Send yourself another known working PDF attachment and see if the same thing happens. If it does, post back. If not, then it most likely means there's either a naming issue with the problem PDF, or it is just corrupt enough to give you troubles when opening from email.
