Check that the "block Internet activity" button on the top of the router is in "active" mode, not in "standby" mode.

Unplug the AC power from the modem -- that will reset it.

Contact your ISP -- they can remotely & electrnically access the cable-modem, and will trouble-shoot, and, if necessary, will replace the modem, for free.

Hello. I have a Dlink dir 600 router and it worked without problems for about a year (usually there were 2-3 laptops wirellesly connected to it). Then suddenly I couldn?t connect to the internet anymore....

Make sure all the wires are connected properly. 1.-Unplug your modem and router from the power supply. Wait 1 minute. 2.-Plug your modem back to the power and wait for all the lights to stop flashing. 3.-Plug your router back to the power and wait for the lights to stop flashing
Follow these steps and your internet should be working again!

No wireless connection for laptop. Linksys router - model #wrt160n v2

you can run a direct line to that router and go to the cisco web site and get the information you need to run that router. its a pdf format and is 2.56 Meg. Try this

SecureEasySetup (Orange/White) The Cisco logo is the Router's SecureEasySetup button. It

lights up and will stay orange when the Router is powered on. The color orange indicates that

the Router is not using the SecureEasySetup feature, while the color white indicates that the

Router is using the SecureEasySetup feature. When the Router enters SecureEasySetup

mode, the Cisco logo will turn white and start flashing. After the Router has generated

the SSID and WPA Personal key, the Cisco logo will stop flashing and stay white.

To clear the SSID and WPA Personal key, press and hold down the Cisco logo for five seconds.

The Cisco logo will flash slowly as the Router resets itself. The Cisco logo will turn orange to

indicate a successful reset.NOTE: SecureEasySetup is a feature that makes

it easy to set up your wireless network. If you have SecureEasySetup devices, run the Router's

Setup Wizard CD-ROM and follow the onscreen instructions to use SecureEasySetup.

Power (Green) The Power LED lights up and will stay on while the Router is powered

on. When the Router goes through its selfdiagnostic mode during every boot-up, this

LED will flash. When the diagnostic is complete, the LED will be solidly lit.

DMZ (Green) The DMZ LED indicates when the DMZ function is being used. This LED will

remain lit as long as DMZ is enabled. WLAN (Green) The WLAN LED lights up when

the wireless feature is enabled. If the LED is flashing, the Router is actively sending or

receiving data over the network. 1, 2, 3, 4 (Green) These numbered LEDs, corresponding with the numbered ports on the Router's back panel, serve two purposes. If the LED is continuously lit, the Router is successfully connected to a device through that port. A flashing LED indicates network activity over that port.

Internet (Green) The Internet LED lights up when there is a connection made through the

Internet port. A flashing LED indicates network activity over the Internet port.

Good luck

I check all connection, all wires and internet connection and the port leds lights do not light on, why?

If when you plug in the power you get the Post light flashes and then no lights you may need to do a hard reset of the router.

If you get no Post light flashes when you plug in the power then your router power supply is most likely the culprit.

Billion Router Bipac 5102 flashing all the time - ADSL LED- I can not access 192.168.1.254 Mahmoud

Your router code should be 192.168.1.1 OR 192.168.0.1 This should get you to type in your user information and access your options for the router. Reset your router first by holding down the reset button for 10 seconds. Username and Password are both "Admin" If this does not work there could be a problem with your connections. Make sure everything is plugged in correctly and reset your modem as well. If it still doesn't work it is either a problem with your internet provider or your router hardware and you will have to contact the manufacturer. Cheers.

I have only power and ehternet led glowing in my DNA-A211-I bsnl modem....when i checked with the BSNL office they told everything is fine from their side......is it a hardware prob...or the reset pin wil...

-First i would test the Internet, by plugging the cord from your BSNLmodem directly into your computer, restart your computer. If the internet works you know you have a problem with router.

-Next unplug your power from the router and then plug your cord from the BSNLmodem back into the Internet port or WAN port of your router. Now plug the power back into your router. This should reset the WAN IP in the router, if that does not work. Try the reset PIN.

If that does not word you could try reflashing the firmware and if that does not work then I would say its Hardware.

Cheers, let me know if you have any questions.

My internet light on my router wont stop flashing

If the internet is working, then this is likely normal behaviour for your router and there is no problem. If so, cover the led's with black electric tape if it bothers you. :) (I've done this on my dsl modem)

If the web is not working, maybe reset the router by holding down the reset button for 30 seconds. If still no good, contact Belkin as the router may be dead. If a reset works, make sure to secure the router with a strong password if it's wireless.

D-link WBR-2310 Stop working

Sounds like a defective modem/modem failure if, it does not reset or if you take all of the other wires out and just leave the power in and none of the other lights go off then that is definitely a defective mode, I suggest either returning the modem to where you purchased it from or calling D link it should be covered under there warranty for replacement.
