Hello,

the problem is from a speaker fuse or the sound IC inside the device.

It needs to be replaced to get a output. Also connect your speaker with another device to be sure the speaker is not the cause of the problem.

Let me know what happens after you have tested the speaker.

I look forward to your reply, bye for now.

Why will Amp not produce sound unless the input and output are patched together

A typical stereo receiver / amp consists of switching low level input signals (CD, DVD, Phono, DAT, etc.), processing them and then output to the amplifier (low level) input for amplification to levels needed to drive speakers. The low level signals would barely be audible via an earphone, so they need to be boosted significantly in order to drive speakers.

Some amps provide jumpers to insert into the phono jacks on the rear of the amp to bridge the processed low level output signals into the low level amplifier input. You could install a Y cable here to feed two amplifiers - or - connect a tape recorder's "REC L+R" to the low level output and the "PLAY L+R" to the low level amp input so that you'd hear the actual audio as it had been recorded on the tape.

If you remove the jumpers (or tape recorder if used instead), there is no way for the low level audio to get into the amp's low level inputs for amplification.

Real-low audio output

First you will have to see what the output wattage is of the radio. I am sure it is really low assuming that you will be going into an amplifier. This is going to take some design though. You don't want to overdrive the factory speakers.

Rca tv ..how to hook up to home speakers

Unless the set has actual audio outputs it should not be done.

The set will have a very low audio output not intended for external systems--if you hook to wrong impedance speakers volume either will not work, be very low or even damage the audio circuit in the set

My output rca jacks are not working. where can i buy some more to fix my amp?

The thing about Jl audio amp is that you have to choose between using the sub output or the the rca output. In order to use the rca output you will have to switch a switch next to the gain level. And it should be label low/high voltage. If you want to use the sub output then leave it on low if you want to use the rca output then switch it to high. I hope that solve your problem

turntable needs high sensitivity preamp. the output level is so low that it has to be amplified more. usual inputs of turntable are phono input. needs a high sensitive input to handle.hope this help.
