My Wii isn't in color.

YOU SHOULD CHECK YOUR RCA CONNECTIONS, THERE IS NO REASON YOU SHOULDNT HAVE COLOR. MAKE SURE THEY ARE COLOR CODED PROPERLY ON THE BACK OF THE TV.

There is no color

Hello
Please try the below mentioned process to troubleshoot the issue.
  1. Set the Wii console to output 480 lines of video.

  2. While on the Wii Channel Menu (main screen of the Wii), connect a Nunchuk to Wii Remote.

  3. Select the Virtual Console game from the Wii menu, then select "Start" to begin the game.

  4. When the game starts, press the Home button on the Wii Remote. (In many games, the music can be heard when the game starts.)

  5. Select "Operations Guide" from the Home menu.

  6. Press the Z + A + 2 Button simultaneously (the Z Button is on the Nunchuk). A sound will be heard if the button combination has been entered correctly.

  7. Close the Home menu. The game display should now be correct.

Your wii automatically set itself to HD but your tv doesn't support it. You need to change your wii to standard definition under video settings.

I purchased a wii machine and can't figure out how to set it up.

to hook up the wii, plug the censor bar into the back of the wii and the a/v jacks into the tv/vcr/dvd player(line the colors right(red with red, white with white and yellow with yellow))and connect the opposite end into the wii. Then take the power box(big gray box with outlet cord attached) and plug it into the back of the wii and wall, turn on and play some great games

I suggest you pack the Wii back up into the box and return it to Walmart for a replacement. If that doesn't fix the problem, then you have a TV issue.

Connecting my WII

Connecting a Wii is simple, to connect first Plug your Wii into a wall power outlet, the plug the AV or three pronged jack into the corresponding colors in the back of the TV, Next plug in the Wii sensor bar to the back of the Wii Console and mount the sensor bar on top of the Television. Turn the power on to your Wii and connect your Wii-motes. Enjoy!
