When I try to take a picture, it wont take a picture, it just shows the options of Manual, Automatic, Portrait (all the settings available) on the screen in a circle and it will spin in a circle every time I press the shutter button but wont take the picture.. It will not take pictures except for occassionally. I don't know what's going on with it! Any ideas?
Hi
there jus4
What
to do when your Wii Has problems with reading disks and you have
tried cleaning the disk.
This
does not mean your Disk Drive needs replacing more often than not it
just needs the laser to be readjusted.
Option
1
You
can send this off to Nintendo if your still in warranty because it is
included in there free fixes so they will do the collecting for you,
fix it and return the Wii to you, all for free, but it will take 4-6
weeks.
Option
2
If
you are out of warranty its the same process as above but its $150 in
cost
Option
3
now
a new Disk drive would cost around $75 for a compatible one and you
may need some one to fit it at a cost as well.
Option
4
What
I recommend is a Wii
Repair Guide that will show you the simple steps yourself, you
will be up and running again in less than an hour and the cost is far
less than option 2 & 3
Good
Luck

I have the exact same problem. I don't know if it is a software problem or a mechanical problem.
My Samsung S730 occasionally won't let me take pictures. When I try to, it toggles the capture mode in circles.
On top of this, it will not take pictures in dim lighting. The flash and red eye doesn't work for some reason. Only takes pictures most of the time only if the flash is off. Even though, once in a while it wouldn't even take a picture with the flash off.
This is a horrible camera and also takes horrible pictures. Wasn't worth it!
