Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: hp deskjet d1430 not printing

If you double click on the print que, look at the status heading...what does it say? If it says printing and then windows gives you a "this document failed to print", then you probably have a driver issue. Delete the printer and re-install. If it says paused then right click on the job and clickon resume. You might also want to check in the printers and faxes folder, right click on the driver for the printer, see if an option is there that says resume printing, click it if it does. Also right click on driver and select properties, under the ports tab see if the correct port is selected. Best I can do without knowing more detail.

Keep geting the door open error message for HP Deskjet 3920/3940. What door and how do I close it?

The front cover is the door. Make sure no obstacle resides between cover and chasis.

There is a small switch (under cover) on the left side of the printer.

If for any reason you get same error then insert a small paper between the switch and chasis.

good luck

pls. vote for better service

On my laptop, my printer is not printing documents. It shows that the "Door Open" message..the door is clearly not open. Please help

There is plastic piece on the cover that push a switch inon the right side when the cover is close. make sure it is not broken. You can also use your finger or a pencil to push in the switch while the cover is open to test that the swich is working.

Hp deskjet printer 6840 wont print .keeps on saying top cover is open when it is actually closed.

Pop off the right side cover - it is just held with clips. At the hinge, you will see that the cover switch arm that is supposed to move up and down as the cover opens & closes (in the slot in the geared hinge) is probably broken off. It is in the up position when the lid is closed, and down when the lid is open. I cut the shaft of a Q-tip to length and wedged it into the space to keep the cover switch up all of the time and still allow free movement of the lid.

The ink light blinks all the time since I replaced the color

The ink light flashes when the top cover is open...check the switch that tells the printer when the cover is closed.
