Question about Acer Aspire 5920-6727 Notebook
My acer laptop 5920 just went off whilst using it with the mains adapter connected and now won't power up at all. Now the light on the power adapter is steady when not plugged into the laptop but flickers when it is plugged in. Is this a battery or an adapter problem?
I have the same problem.
Have a look at PR8 which is located on the mother board near the 4 pin plug from the AC adaptor.
Mine was burned out and the best I could work out was tat it was a 20 ohm resistor. See if yours is burned out also and let me know what value you identify if your able to.
I am suspecting one of the regs, diodes or fets in that region.
Has any one else got any ideas?
