You can try to totally disable it, by doing right click of the mouse in top of the broadcasting wireless icon. once is disabled, you can go by START / CONNECT TO / WIRELESS CONNECTION and try again. that should work.

Windows WiFi Fix,

Windows Zero Wireless Configuration is one of the best programs to run a WiFi in Windows XP or Vista. Most of the other software packages that come with the different adapters have been poor at best in keeping a connection through Windows. Here is the best guide to get you back up and connected.

Windows XP:

Click Start
Right click on My Computer
When a window pops up click on properties
Click on the Hardware tab
Click Device Manager
Click the [+] next to Network Adapters
Find your wireless card and right click on it.
Click Disable
Windows may warn you that disabling the device may make it stop functioning.
Continue disabling the device.
Wait 30 seconds or so.
Right click on your wireless again and click Enable.
Exit the device manager.
Reconnect to your router.
You should now be able to connect to the internet.

Windows Vista:

Click Start Logo
Right Click Computer
Click Device Manager
Windows will ask you about opening Device Manager Click Continue
Click the [+] next to Network Adapters
Find your wireless card and right click on it.
Click Disable
Windows may warn you that disabling the device may make it stop functioning.
Continue disabling the device.
Wait 30 seconds or so.
Right click on your wireless again and click Enable.
Exit the device manager.
Reconnect to your router.

System Crash

Hi

Intel 2200BG is known to cause this and similar errors when Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) encryption is used. The problem has been around since 2004 and new OS Drivers should fix this.

I recommend you download and install latest Windows Drivers (appropriate for your Windows Version) for Intel 2200BG Adaptor.

If this cannot be done, then setting your wireless to Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) encription (though less secure) will minimise these error conditions

NB: Google "w22n51.sys" for more info.

Regards
Mike

Reboot necessary to find ISP server

2200BG is a very old Intel wireless card. Its driver had a lot of issues that were fixed over the years. Try the latest driver from Intel site: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Product_Filter.aspx?ProductID=1637&lang=eng (make sure to choose correct OS).
