It is flashing "P RESET" on it and don't let print. How can I fix it?

Maybe you have the same printer installed more than once. If that's the case the computer gets confused and so do you because you can be printing to the one that is not active or online. Only one can be active or online at a time. Click Start/Control Panel or Start/Settings/Control Panel and click on Printers to open it. If your printer is listed more than once, Right Click on it and select Delete.

Also look down at the bottom right near the time and if you see the printer icon click it to open it. If there are documents in the print queue waiting to print, cancel or delete them.

Now you should be able to print.

Hi, try to fixed the paper cassette tray and the cover it might sensing empty paper.

you have to reset the timer. Usually holding the filter reset button, if there is one, for an extended period (3 second or more) Find the manual on line if you don't have it. Most fridges have the instruction in very small print next to the filter light.

Procedure how to reset the error 46 error (unable to clean). This can be done on every Brother inkjet machine with a numeric keypad.

- Machine off
- Switch on the machine while holding down the “menu” button until all the leds are flashing on/off. Now you are in “maintenance” mode.
- press 80
- press the “mono start” button several times until you see “purge: xxxx”
- press “2783” in order to reset the purge counter. You will see: “purge:0000”
- press “99” to exit the maintenance mode

Now you are able to print again, but actually your ink absorber box is now full with ink. Ink flooding can happen if you don’t replace this ink box

Reset code.
Press menu then*2864 within 2 seconds (maint should be on the display and all the lights should be flashing, if not try again) press 80
then keep pressing black/mono start button until screen displays ‘purge count’
press 2783 to reset purge count
press stop/exit key
press 99
machine should return to normal

The below steps is not confirmed that it a fix, but you can try the below step. This is called as a printer partial reset. Uses fixes most of the general issues. Clears the memory in the printer (speed dial etc..)

1. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the product.
2. Wait 60 seconds.
3. Reconnect the power cord to the back of the product.
4. When the lights on the product control panel begin to flash, press and hold the On/Resume button ( ) and the Size button. Illustration: Press and hold On/Resume and Paper Size buttons
5. When only the On/Resume button ( ) is flashing, release both buttons. The reset is complete when the button light stops flashing.
6. Try printing again.

Service required mean waste ink counter overflow. You need to reset it. SSC Service utility don't work with this type. The resetter is not for free, it's commercial. Only some distributor have it.
