Question about Yamaha Electric Guitar
Yamaha acoustic-electric apx-6c. Controller stopped working (no lights, no sound, no hum). May need to find a replacement controller
I found the problem--a broken wire on the guitar jack. Strange, but because of that, the indicator on the controller wouldn't come on. Really a simple solder fix, and everything works fine! Thanks corpmica and fredy2 for your replies!

Actually, the battery is near the back of the neck (to the right side).
There's maybe some disconnected cables somewhere inside. And as fredy2 said, What a pain that is.
It happenned to me once. I had to unscrew the 3.5mm female jack of the guitar (take the strinfs off) and to weld back one cable to it.
The harder is to put back the plug (sorry for my english...). You will need to be very very patient.

LIKELY the internal battery is exhausted. On some of these you have to take the strings off to get to the battery inside. What a pain that is.
