Question about Lexmark E250dn Laser Printer

A Lexmark E250dn in my school does not print. There is a new ink cartridge in it and it "talks" to the computer but does not show what was sent to print. The motors runs paper through it, but the paper comes out blank. The "test" information sends 4 pages out but all are blank. What should I try next?

This likely to be a faulty cartridge.

There are a number of things that can result in blank pages, but if the cartridge has just been changed (and the old one was fine apart from being 'empty'), you should be talking to your supplier.

Memory info retrieving from lexmark x5630 fax machine


Usually, faxes are temporarily sent to the printer's memory when one of the cartridges' ink level is not substantial for printing at the instance of receiving the fax. When this happens, try to replace the cartridge(s), *without navigating away from the message "fax sent to memory", by opening the printer cover and replacing the low-ink or empty cartridge(s). After the new cartridge is installed, close the printer cover and press the OK button. Your printer should then print the fax stored in the memory.
*Make sure not to navigate away from the "fax sent to memory" message, otherwise, data will be lost.

My Lexmark E250DN : 02 led on the right hand is ON, the system restart and can not print. Any suggestion for help???


The printer is ready to receive and process data. In addition, the toner in the toner cartridge is getting low.


You can press and release Continue button to clear the light sequence and continue processing the print job. Turn the printer off and remove the toner cartridge, and shake it to extend the life. If toner light is on, replace the toner cartridge.

I changed the toner on my Lexmark E250dn and now it has the "!" light on all the time and won't print. It's a new cartridge what is going on?


"!" means error.

Try removing cartridge and installing it again and might be one of the cartridge missing.

Try operating manual. Might helps, there are lots of reason for the error

My computer will not even acknowledge a print command. Will not print anything, It is sent to "print online! it is set as default printer as 640 series. There is plenty of ink, yet is showing as; Ink Low ?


Are you using a factory new ink cartridge?
Please consider the following:
If you are using a refilled or third party cartridge that may well be your problem. Most manufacturers build logic into their products to prevent the use of “Other Equipment Manufactured” cartridges as well as re-filled cartridges.
They do this to prevent problems from contaminated inks causing problems with print quality or damaging the physical printhead.
If you are using factory new cartridges, then please call the manufacturers Technical Support for assistance with the warranty on the cartridges

Lexmark e250dn printer, toner light is flashing, new cartridge


Could be photoconductor at end of life.

You shoul still be able to do a printer test print (press the arrow button).

Look on the printed pagesfor Toner AND Photoconductor.

These show as OK when new or very low count, and 100% when fully used.

If the toner is showing as 100% when you've just replaced it, either the chip is faulty, the wrong one, or if the cartridge is a remanufactured one possibly nor been replaced.

All in one printer does not scan or copy


If the Ink Status is showing a ? symbol after you have replaced the tanks, you just need to tell the printer that you replaced tanks ,

To do that , open your lexmark solution centre from the Lexmark start menu group.

Click Maintenence
