Question about Computers & Internet
I have bought an nvidia 8800 gtx graphic card. I put it into my PC, but after this i realised that i need to connect additional power cables from the psu to the card. Unluckily i didn't have the proper cable in my pc (6 pin), i only had 4 pin cables, so i had to buy converter which is able to convert 4 pin cables to 6 pin.
After this everything was good, the card worked, i installed the driver for the card, it works very well.
Only problem: if i start any game, i have a blank screen and i have to reboot my pc, or i don't have a blank screen because the pc makes a reboot on its own.
I have a 475 W PSU. Is this enough for the card? Could this be the problem, or it could be something else?
Have had similar problem try pulling card out and refit a couple of times

insert the card into the pci slot on you motherboard turn your computer on the found new hardware should activate and ask you to install the drivers/software for it
If your computer came with a motherboard disc the drivers could be on it
Click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to display adapters + to expand you might see a yellow question mark ? or exclamation mark ! or a red x right click select reinstall drivers
