Question about TallyGenicom 6306 Matrix Printer
Did you try just plugging it in? If you run Ubuntu Karmic, or another recent flavor of linux, it may just work right away. In fact, this has been the case with every printer that I've tried with Ubuntu Karmic. No driver needed! To check, plug in your printer, and wait for a while while Linux recognises your new hardware. If it works, it will say your printer is ready to use.
If this doesn't work, check out this page to see if a driver is available for your printer: http://www.openprinting.org/drivers
