Yep, you can clean the LCD and the inside of the glass, but you will need two suction cups for glass. The ones for picking up window glass work. Lay the computer on its back. Place the suction cups at the upper corners and pull straight away from the table. The glass is held on by magnets and may have tabs at the bottom, so once the magnets are loose you may have to lift the glass away from the bottom edge. Be careful, it isn't safety glass and can break if dropped. The hardest part is keeping dust from getting between the screen and the glass during reassembly. Try working in a dust-free environment. I use two micro-fiber cloths, one with screen cleaner and one dry. You can't believe how much static builds up on the inside of the glass. It just sucks in dust. Don't wear fleece or you'll end up with fuzz as well. Stand your iMac up to reinstall. Clean the outside of the glass so you can see any dust on the inside. Place the bottom in place first. As you prepare to move the top into place, have light behind and above you and view the glass with the black screen behind. You can see most of the dust that way. Good luck.

Cleaning inside the LCD itself is above my pay-grade. I'll have to leave commenting on that to another tech.

I have three black circles, and some color streaking at he bottom inch of my RCA, LCD tv

that is usually caused by cleaning the screen with windex the windex runs down the screen bewteen the screen and plastic frame and actually seeps inside between the screen layers. Eventually it may go away by itself if the circles are not too bad but in most cases the damage is permanent. It can also be an issue called screen delamination which there is no fix for.

Someone just gave me a imac desktop its a 2006 model. The person that was bringing it to me some how cracked the inside of the monitor when the computers off everything looks ok but when you turn it on you...

Well... your LCD is broken is the issue. The price depends on the size of the display. I suggest looking on the internet for the screen inside your monitor. A raw screen can be bought to replace the one that was broken for around $80.00 for the 17 inch ones I see on a quick search. Yours might have a 20 inch or 19.. I am not sure for your 2006.. The raw screen is available though as a trade-in. They will replace your glass screen and refurbish to resell. Do you know the size of your screen by chance? You have to measure diagonally corner to corner of the part you look at to know... I would expect to dish out from $80 to $150 ballpark. I did a 14 inch dell PC monitor for about $40. the price of LCDS is coming down so much it might be cheaper and better to replace the whole monitor.. just have to compare prices though. Hope that helps.

Samsung 940NW Streaking

Your description, without a photo of the streaking leaves us to wonder what direction the streaking occurs. If it is vertical, the LCD display has bad edge connections and the only service you can do is attempt to locate the bad connections by pressing the edge of the display till the streaks cease, then locate the portion on the board and solder it. Another type of streaking that cannot be repaired is the actual loss of LCD contrast in the display. The display has to be replaced. Horizontal lines are usually the result of a board issue and the whole board is replaced. The CCFL tubes get yellow tint to them when the get older and that is right after they get brighter.

Apple iMac 24" Screen issue

you are not alone. its not that hard to clean. really you need the cloth that came with the screen...most people throw it out. and all you do is dab it with a bit of water and gently massage the screen. and it looks as good as new. if you dont still have the cloth use a very silky delicate piece of cloth. if it is underneath the screen (very unlikely) take it back to the shop you baught it for and if it is an apple store then they will most probably clean it for free.
also do the stains look like the are on the inside or outside? and, do they move at all?
if you took a picture of your screen and posted it on here. i will be able to give you a better idea on how to.. fix ya

Horizontal lines that look like streaks or smears going from left to right

Horizontal lines that look like streaks or smears, you need consider:
1) video card memory error cause it if the display memory on the video card
2) check RAM (clean pins and slot pin)
3) monitor power on without cable to see the menu display, it is ok if no streak, need to clean monitor cable plug.
