1. Plug the wireless receiver in to one of your PC's USB ports.
2. Press the button on the receiver for two seconds so that the green light
flashes.
3. Press the button on the underside of the mouse once (short press).
4. Wait for the mouse to connect to the receiver. If the connection fails, press
the button on the underside of the mouse once more to continue scanning
(the connection will normally be made on the first press).
The whole process should take less than 10 seconds.
if the mouse refuse to connect check the battery and the power button of the mouse...and also you can try to change the USB port of the receiver ..

this mouse should be seen automatically ...they do not need a driver ..but I will look anyway ..
the issue I explained is that it is just a matter of synchronization on the device and receiver ..you should read more careful ...
anyway ..if this device needed a driver ..it shloud be in the box..if you bought it new..dont you think??
probably it is a USB issue ....cause the driver for this receivers are in it s own memory ..just like in the flash memory sticks..
Anyway ..try like I say ...go to insert the receiver ..than if the windows did not find it as a new hardware ..go to add new hardware in the control panel and run add new hardware wizard..this sould find it ..if you let it search for devises automatically ..and install it ..
to verily that it is installed proper.. go to device manager ..by right click on the my computer icon ..than properties....hardware ../and device manager ...
here you will see all the devices connected to this computer ..if the receiver (you will see it by name or as a unknown device) is not proper installed it wil appear here in yellow with a ask sign on it ..
If this is the case let me know and I will look for a driver anyway (also please mention the operation system u use..) ...another thisng that you may do ..is right click on the yellow shown device in the manager and choose update driver ...this will try to install it and if there is any driver available (if you have a disk insert it and run it first) this will solve ..

Hallo i can not get my new wireless mouse to work

Make sure the mouse batteries are fully charged.

Also make sure the mouse is not too far away from the base / cradle and there is nothing blocking the sensor on the front of the mouse cradle.

Make sure all the cables are fully inserted. Check both ends of the power adapter plug going into the back of the mouse cradle and the plugs leading to the back of the computer.

Try cleaning the little red LED light under the mouse with a QTip to remove any dust.

Make sure you restart your computer with the mouse cradle / base plugged into the mouse port.
Then be sure to connect the base and the mouse by pushing the button on the base unit, then the small button on the underside of the wireless mouse.

Also try using a different mouse pad. Some work better than others with certain brands of wireless mice. And also make sure there is not another wireless mouse being used in close proximity. The two can often interfere with each other.

Thank you and good luck.

Microsoft & Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse - Slate - VSBX300008 Model 1056. I plug it in, and it works but after a while it stops working completely. I try reconnecting, re plugging it in everything...

Here's what you need to do:

1. First, replace the batteries. Try to use regular batteries (only for testing).
NOTE: Do not put the mouse on the cradle or charge the mouse if you're using regular batteries.

2. Try to connect the wireless USB dongle in to different USB ports of the computer. If same problem occurs, try to use different computer and see if the same problem occur.

3. Make sure that there's no possible wireless interference near the computer. Like base of the cordless phone, cell phone, and any other wireless devices that are using RF signals. They might interfere with the RF wireless signal of your mouse.

If it behave the same thing on different computer, then you may need to contact the manufacturer for repair.

Thank you and good luck!

Saitek wireless mouse

Hi. Try these simple steps:

Check if you have a small button on the bluetooth device you connected to the USB port of your computer. If it has, then press it and you'll see a light blinking.

While the light on the USB device is blinking, press the connect button underneath the mouse and it should pair within 30 seconds.

I have bought a saitek m80x wireless notebook mouse for my laptop, the man at the shop said it would work on my laptop i have plugged the usb in it said it installed the mouse is on (glowing red...

Cracked it! Instructions and website are useless!
What it does not tell you to do is:-
1. plug in wireless usb part and let windows install.
2. put batteries in mouse, it turns on automatically but turn it off by pressing the button underneath for 3 - 5 seconds.
3. Press the button on the wireless usb stick until the green light on the stick comes on. When you release the button it stays on for about 10 seconds. In the time that the green light is on turn on the mouse with a short press on the button underneath to register with the wireless usb stick.
4. Well it worked with mine after I figured it out - no thanks to the instructions. tried on vista ultra and xp home.

Optical light on Mouse not working

Hello,

maybe the battery?
follow the steps below to troubleshoot the mouse
Wireless mouse does not respond (generic instructions)

Try to Resynchronize your device with the receiver(connector)
Follow these steps.:
Note When you synchronize the mouse or the keyboard with the receiver, put the device near the receiver and put other wireless keyboards and mouse at least 6 feet away.
1. Press the button on the receiver, and then verify that the light on the receiver starts to blink.
2. If a dialog box appears on the screen in several seconds, follow the instructions that appear on the screen. Otherwise, go to the next step.
2. Press and release the Connect Channel button on the bottom of the mouse or the keyboard.
3. Check the green light on the receiver. A steady green light means the synchronization was successful. If the problem persists, try steps 1 through 3 again.
For the Wireless Notebook mouse: This issue can occur if the micro-switch on the bottom of the mouse is not released. Use a pin or a pen to try to release the button if it is depressed.
or
Try different port and restart your computer.
or
Reinsert the batteries or install fresh batteries
If you have the possibility check whether the problem is because of your computer or the device, try the mouse or the keyboard on a different computer.

Microsoft wireless notebook optical mouse 3000 Doesnt seem to work?

Okay, a coworker had this problem and it was a fairly easy fix, first, plug the USB reciever into a direct USB port, then pess the connect button on the underside of the mouse, when the red light starts blinking let go and then press it and hold, and at the SAME TIME press and hold the connect button on the receiver until both the receiver light and the mouse light turn on steadily, and voila!
