I need the part for a Wahl shaver that the cutter bar attaches to. It's a white, flexible plastic thing. Where can I buy it?

Most, likely, your oscillator is broken. It is the plastic piece that transfers the rotary motion of the motor to a 'back and forth' motion

Remove the foil and cutter as usual. Then remove the two metal clips on the top of the shaver body. The front and back cases can now be separated at the top and will come apart

Remove the foil and cutter. Under the cutter are two metal clips. Remove clips and you will then be able to seperate the two halves.

I had the same problem and I eventually figured it out. The blade assembly has to be reassembled first then snapped back into place.

1. the bottom part has a little "nub" that the screws attach to
2. the second part is the thin piece of metal with a ridge
3. the white plastic thing, make sure the ridges are sandwiched together
4. the small blade, the blades must face each other
5. the large blade

use the 2 screws to hold the assembly together, once assembled it snaps into place on the clipper. See attached picture for how it should look once assembled.

It's STUPID that this is missing from the instruction guide that comes with the clippers.

are you talking about springs under the center cutter bar between the foils? If so, you will need a new foil and cutter set. It is available at shaveroutlet.com with link below

Or maybe you refer to a spring that goes to one of the clips that hold the foil assembly to the pivoting swivel frame. If so, you will need the part linked below
