This is a common problem, usually the eject drive motor, fails, or the circuitry, that drives it, or the brain, that tells, the drive to drive. There is no possible way to know, unless the unit is examined. You can sometimes get the tray open, by getting a straightened paper Clip, insert into a small hole at the front of the DVD tray, insert into hole, and push in, push, until a click, is heard/felt, and then push a little more past that point, and the tray should pop open, now you can at least get your DVD out. Now you either need to get this unit repaired or get a new one.

Step one: Remove any loose paper Remove any loose sheets of paper from the input tray and the output tray.

All in one printer displays clear paper jam then press ok, but no paper jam can be found on printer. hp photosmart c5380 all in one.

There are a number of things that can cause a carriage jam. To prevent it from recurring, one should keep in mind a number of things. Always ensure that the paper tray is not overloaded as this might result in the paper being stuck inside. Also the paper being used should be as per the manufacturer's recommendations. Turn off the printer when removing bits of paper. If there is a broken gear, do not repair it yourself. Call an expert HP technician to mend it.
