Question about Sharp AQUOS Blu-ray Disc Player
There's a few things you can try. Turn off unit, unplug from AC for 5 minutes or so, plug back in, turn unit on, hit eject/open.
OR..same as above, but hold the eject/open button, then turn unit on.
Sometimes a combination of these odd procedures actually work. Sometimes holding the stop button, and hitting eject/open works too. Hope this is helpful.

Found that 'rc's' solution of on-off and trying lots of button pushes worked. Now, I have a new system to play and record with, how shall I use the 'old' stand-alone' DVD player??? LOL

Unplugging for 5 minutes, then plug in and turn on while holding the STOP button on the remote and pressing the EJECT button on the actual player worked for me.
