Sounds like you have a clogged defrost drain tube. removing back panel of freezer will give you access to drain trough, melt away the ice with a hair dryer, youll find a drain hole under there somewhere, pouring boiling water down the drain will clear it pretty quickly( i use a steam machine purchased from the infomercials works awesome, after you clear it and all water drain down tube wrap a piece of solid copper wire around the heater( black calrod heater right above the drain trough) and stick it in the whole maybe an inch or so. now every time the heater comes on to defrost it will prevent the hole from freezing over

Timer location on model frs26zshbo

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand you are looking for the timer location on your Frigidaire refrigerator, model# FRS26ZSHB0. The defrost timer is located at the bottom left corner of your appliance. I do suggest having an authorized technician for any type of repairs, as there are no step by step instruction manuals. Hope this is helpful.

I have a ffa90 futre fridge & bottom frezzer. the fridge is frezzing the food in the door & in the fridge. have tryed water in botles & they get ice on it .in the door the food frezzers so

Find where the supply air is coming into the fridge part. It comes from the freezer and could easily be supplying -18 air direct to the door. This would give you a 2 in the fridge but anything in the direct air path could freeze.

My side by side for some reason has water coming out from under it..i check the water feed line and its good!I then checked the drain plug in the frezzer and noticed the whole bottom of the frezzer had...

What is a "drain plug"??? Never seen one on a fridge ;)
Clean the drain pan and drain line in the back of the freezer section underneath the evaporator coil. Make sure water drains when you pour it in.
Good luck! :)

Water leaking from left side of frezzer out the

There is a restriction in the condensate drain. You should be able to press a piece of tubing against the drain opening (inside fridge) and BLOW (NOT ****) through the other end. this should clear the obstruction. The obstruction would be slimy goop, sooo again -
NO ****!

THE FOOD IS FREEZING IN THE NON FREEZER SIDE OF SIDE BY SIDE

Sir, To solve this problem, you must open the compressor area at the back bottom of the refrigerator and chek the temperature of the pressure line. If the temperature is between 55celcius to 60 than its ok. Or else you need to change the refrigerant. I suggest you to contact the service authority.

Thanks for contacting Fixya.

My chest type freezer ice up around the top but does not freeze except in the bottom portion

Check the gasket. Sounds like you have a leak somewhere causing the ice formations on the bottom. Easy way to check this is to have a steamer or a small pot of boiling water (steaming hot) while the frezzer is runing hold the pot of steaming water and watch the steam. You will see the steam going into the frezzer. BINGO leaking gasket. May need to replace the gasket or may beable to fix. You will see and know what to do. Keep me posted. Good luck.

My side by side refridgertor is freezing

Depending on model you have a condensate drain pluged up. Unplug and look on the frezzer side bottom and see how to take off the back panel. Possibely 4 to 6 screws. Once you take that off look at the very bottom. You will see a hole and some metal or foil around that hole. this may or may not have ice in it or not. If you have ice in it you can pour hot water on it from the tap. Ice gone, you can get a steamer and put the attachement that has a small end on it and blow steam down the hole. If you dont have a steamer you can carefully pour hot water down the hole and see if it is pluged. Should drain in a few min. Dont pour then 2 cups of water down the drain. You will fill up the condesate pan and have a water mess. Good luck and keep me posted.

Ice in the bottom of frigidaire side by side frost proof freezer

take all the bottom shelves and baskets out of the freezer. look at the back wall of the freezer. youll see a block of ice in a metal pan looking part at the bottom of the rear panel. there is a hole in the bottom of that pan. thats the defrost drain. its clogged. use a hair dryer to get all the ice out then use hot water to flush out the drain hole.
