Question about Memorex MMP8565 MP3 Player
Before you attempt to reformat, you might try resetting the thing if you haven't already. Use a paper clip and poke it into the little tiny hole on the top next to the headphone plug in. That should reset it and be good to go. If that doesn't work, try reformatting.

Go to memorexelectronics.com and then to support. You need to upload the current firmware for model MMP8565.. I downloaded the firmware program and followed the instructions, it fixed all the problems I was having with the mp3 player. Make sure you follow the instructions carefully, it may get a little tricky if you are not somewhat computer literate.
