Have atwood furnace and coleman mach thermostat and it would not shut off. I unplugged power to rv and had to hit battery disconnect so that it would stop.waited few minutes...turned on...heat would not come on but blower ran until I had to unplug and start over. Is it my thermostat? Then abut 3 hours later went through the whole process again...heat came on..all well....then heat shut off...blower kept going and could hear clicking noise from furnace, (trying to light) and would not work.

It may be your thermostat, but try this first to see if time delay relay may be sticking. When it won't shut off, turn propane off, and go outside and unscrew the 2 screws that hold your cover on, and lower the cover down. Look straight ahead, attached to the housing of the fan up near top you'll see a square relay (time delay relay) with 4 male spade connectors, and wires attached to each. It's usually held on with 2 Philips screws. Give it a little rap with the handle of a screwdriver or similar a couple of times, and see if fan stops running. While your there as well, pull the wiring connector off the ignition board, and put back on a couple of times, to clean the connections. Now try it again, and let me know what happens.

I have an Atwood AirConditioner/Furnace on the ceiling of my Everest 5th Wheel that would not shut off yesterday, and then when I pulled the 12v fuse(which turned off the refridge&furnace) left it off a while, then plugged back in, after replacing the batteries to the remote control, and seemed to run fine. I am not sure, but I suspect the low batteries in the remote were the problem. Also, the remote might have accidently been set to the "I FEEL" setting, which drains the battery. The whole system was designed and made by money-hungry demonic nitwits who cannot write a good user/repair manual, but we can get thru these problems together on forums like this!
The RVparts place suggested in LV has a good website for parts and prices! Thank you all!

How do i bypass the furnace and still use the duotherm 57915.531

Do you have the digital thermostat? You can tell the thermostat you have no furnace. You should be able to disconnect power at the furnace, but the 12v power for the circuit board is provided by the furnace circuit on some systems so make sure you disconnect the wire going to the furnace and leave the wire feeding the circuit board.
