When you are seeing buffering only on some channels then that is your cable provider or satellite. Nothing to do with your tv.If it were buffering on all then you can suspect something in the reciever section being annoying.

Pc is choppy audio and video

Assuming that you are watching video in a web browser, there are several possibilities. A lot of video on the web uses Flash Player for rendering, so make sure you are using the latest version which fixes security issues and performance problems. You may also want to clear your Flash cache as well as your web browser's cache files, especially if you are seeing a lot of hard disk activity when this is happening. You may also want to consider cleaning out all of the Windows temp files and directories as well as defragmenting your hard disk.

On a low-bandwidth connection, you may also encounter issues related to buffering. If the player allows changing the size of the buffer, you may want to enlarge it. It will cause the media stream to pull more content before it tries to play it and when there is an interruption in the stream, it has more time to pull more data before the buffer completely empties.

You should also use Task Manager to see how much of your total RAM is being used and page file usage. If you are using a lot of RAM and the system is paging, it will slow down everything but the most obvious ends up being choppy or distorted multimedia playback. If either of these are the case, you may want to add more RAM or reduce the number of currently running processes. Background process can consume a lot of memory or CPU cycles that interfere with your foreground process.

MY INTERNET CONNECTION IS TOO SLOW AND THE PLAYBACK CATCHES UP WITH THE BUFFER.HOW CAN I CHANGE THE BUFFFER SETTING TO MATCH MY CLEAR 3G DOWNLOAD SPEED OF LESS THAN 1.0 MBPS?

Depending on where you are trying to watch videos, one my "tricks" is to pause the video and come back later. When you pause the video your browser will still be downloading the video. This, in essence, is manually creating a buffer. When you come back, the video will be downloaded and you can watch it interruption free. Keep in mind, this works for certain video websites and not for others (particularly, ones with mid-video commercials). I hope this helps.

While changing channels the picture went dark on video 5 feed but we still had audio. I checked the HD cable box was find confirmed by running its feed thru video 2 with regular picture. I tried video 6...

It can still be your cable box, do you have another hd set to check and see if the hd output is working on the cable box? Seems too much of a coincidence that it happened when you were changing the channel on the cable box, the tv can only show what it is receiving.

The sound on channel 3 is snowy and on aux 2 there is no sound but aux 1 is perfect and all 3 have a clear picture

Superhetrodynes (TVs) piggyback video and audio signals (called IF -- intermediate frequencies). There are various IC's (Integrated Circuits) which detect these frequencies and separate them (filter them) to separate amplifiers and processing circuits. The first STAGE of these filters/processors are in the tuner. The tuner appears to have developed an internal malfunction.

Digital TV freezes now that the digital conversion is done

Hello,

Do you remember in the old days when you got bad reception and the TV would get snowy? That was due to the signal strength of the incoming signal was not strong enough. We with digital TV you can still have a situation where the signal is weak, since you are looking at a digital picture the video and audio are packetize, and being packets they are first fed into a buffer and then sent to the decoding section of your TV. Now think about this when the signal becomes weak and the data stream is corrupted to the point that the processor rejects the stream that data which is in the buffer plays out and the last thing in the buffer is what you see on the screen (frozen image on the screen) until the signal strength goes back to normal and the buffer fills up again.

How do you stop this, well that's a hard question since the buffer underflow is the result of signal degradation, the cure would be to prevent the signal from degrading. This can be done with the use of an HDTV antenna (too expensive), an amplified antenna (priced ok for some but still too pricy for most), a rabbit ear type antenna with an amplifier added (this will work for most people), or just a plain set of rabbit ears (dipole antenna). All of these are options that can help you.

I hope this helps

Thank you,

HI.I was watchinglive streaming but there is a eror sudenly.this eror:rtsp://78.129.143.64/broadcast/pull/81.31.32.47:2030/broadcast/pull/81.19.7.50:3051/stv3.rmvb Can you help me...

Streaming audio/video quality can be affected by connection rate and Internet congestion. Many types of interruptions between your computer, your player, your computer's OS, your local network, your ISP and a streaming server can exist and cause trouble....
When you listen to the live audio/video stream, the sound or video skips, cuts out or buffers if the player doesn't have enough network bandwidth, it will buffer. Try increasing your player's buffering setting. Also:
  • Make sure you are choosing the appropriate bandwidth version of a media stream based on your Internet connection.
  • Make sure you are choosing the appropriate bandwidth settings in an Internet media player or streaming audio/video recorder.
  • Make sure NOT to download applications or files while watching/listening to media streams. Your Internet connection is shared between all open applications including your web-browser, your download manager and your streaming player. Closing applications that use your Internet connection simultaneously with your streaming player may reduce buffering.
  • Close other unnecessary applications that may be open on your computer. Reboot your computer. If you have lots of other programs open, they may be using too much processor time and/or RAM for the player to work properly.
  • Make sure your Internet connection is fast enough to reliably listen to streaming audio and/or watch streaming video online. High speed Internet connection is recommended.
  • Make sure your computer is fast enough. If your computer is old, it might be too slow to play an audio/video stream regardless of what else it's doing.
  • Update your media players and streaming audio/video recorders regularly.
Internet congestion can slow down the delivery of the stream, make it difficult for you to connect or cause buffering. Often the interruption is temporary. Please try to connect a few times at different times of the day, if possible. If you repeatedly have problems connecting, please notify your ISP - there are often quick fixes they can make when they learn about your issue.

Try the above steps you will find a solution to your problem....100% it will work.....

Sharp tv audio problem

You may have a tunner problem. Try this turn your TV to channel 3 connect you cable to it and select a channel. If thesound has a problem what may be happening is the the audio detector may not be working properly or the audio amplification stages may not be working correctly from the audio detector. You will have to test the audio stage from the detector to the last audio amplifier to troubleshoot this problem. If you have experiences in this that's good if not take the set to a qualified service technician.
