There are shocks inside the machine that damper the vibration, one or more has failed, they can be replaced if you are a good do it your self er, if u have to pay to fix it replace not worth the cost of repair. the repair requires taking off all the panels to access the inside. and check cost of dampers and compare to cost versus replacement

Hi if you can do it yourself, put the machine about 2ft away from the wall with the door faceing the wall, then lean it against the wall, this way you can look under the bottom off the machine, check to see if the drum moves from side to side, some times the shock absorbers come loose 1 at each side, all the best.

On the spin cycle the washer starts banging & making a lot of noise

Reach inside drum and see if it moves at all when you lift up and down on it or side to side and maybe makes a noise. If so you must have the drum and the rear of the outer tub replaced.

When it gets to spin cycle it move all over the placy bang into wall ????

Check to see if the machine is level and all the 4 legs are making good contact with the floor. If the machine is level, check to see if the machine spins freely. Open the door and check the drum. It should be hang straight in the opening. Spin the drum by hand and listen for any strange noises. It should spins quietly without any banging noises. If that check out, remove the lower access cover and look at the wash drum. There are two shock absorbers. If they look damaged, they will need to be replaced.

a broken spring in the drum support. Any moves like yours the drum should have been packed out to prevent any movement.

Look for a rubber buffer ( some models) it may also be missing. The spind cyle is more continuous in its direction of movement than a wash cycle back and forth which places foorce on the weaker side. It might even be possible to get this fixed unde3r warranty if you don't say YOU moved it 600 km over bumpy roads. It's only just started to do this. right? wink wink!

Washing Machine Moves in Spin Cycle

There are 2 things you can do.
All washing machines have an off balance shut off, some are touchy, some let it run around the house. With wht machine empty, lean it towards you, on the 2 front feet, about 2 or 3 inches and let it drop. The self leveling feet in the rear must BOTH make good floor gontact and sometimes, just the weight of the machine will not adjust them. The other thing is, make sure the load is evenly distributed. Coats, blankets, small rugs etc. are very heavy when wet and they tend to throw all of the weight to one side.
There is no screw holding the yub in place. It hangs on the center post, where the agitator goes. There is however, what's called a snubber. It is a rubber device that looks like a flattened suction cup, that comes in contact with the tub. It helps keep the tub from jumping around too much.
