This is a small toy telescope (sold by Toys R US) of 50mm. The same size as a pair of 10x50mm binoculars which would have been better for a beginner to use for Astronomy.

It is not worth repairing as the repair will cost more than the entire telescope. What makes you think there is something wrong with it? This is a very simple refractor telescope. Put the eyepiece with the largest number written on it into the telescope. DO NOT use the 2x barlow if you have one.

Go outside during the daytime and practice focusing on a distant object. The image will be upside down but this is normal and not a problem. Read my TIPS on my profile page and read this web site:

We have an Edu Science telescope from ToysRUs with a price tag of $69.99 that lists numbers 10050 and 120804. We took it out to assemble it and can't find a manual. When you look out the lense, it is

You can only use the eyepiece marked 20mm. This is a toy not a scope and you will only hate astronomy if you try to use it. The tripod is unstable and the lenses are plastic. Send it back and get a quality scope from Meade, Celestron or Orion. Orion makes a tabletop Dob (only 76mm aperture) for about $60 that is much better quality.

We have our telescope set up but cannot see anything out of the lenses. we have tried all different lenses but without success. Currently there is one star we can see with our naked eye. We cannot see it...

If you look at the PICTURE in your qusetion FIXYA has the scope POINTED at the ground! :)

You have a reflector style telescope. The mirror is the bottom of the scope, and the focuser is on the UP end of the tube pointed UP. Many beginners mount these scopes UPSIDE DOWN with the focuser on the bottom instead of the top (side) of the tube.

Put the eyepiece with the largest number written on it into the focuser. DO NOT use the 2x barlow if you have one. Take the scope outside during the day time and practice focusing on a distant object. You must also line-up the small finder scope on top with the main tube.

POINT the scope at the top of a distant telephone pole. Without moving the main tube, adjust the cross-hairs on the finder scope so they point at the same spot as the main tube.

When i look thru any of the lenses all i see is black. i can look into telescope without any lense and i see light. but as soon as i put the lense in it is blakc and it doesnt mater what size or...

We receive more complaints on this scope than any other brand. You never said which model you own? Is it a refractor or a reflector style???

Read this page and look at the pictures. Notice a refractor has a lens in the front and the eyepiece in the back.

The reflector has MIRRORS and the focuser end is on the UP end of the telescope-- the mirror is the BOTTOM of the telescope.

How much does a tasco 302675 telescope cost/

It does not matter what it costs! Do not buy a Tasco telescope. Very poorly made, some even have plastic eyepieces and plastic lenses!

Check out this web site and others for a better, higher quality telescope.

I would also suggest that you look at a Dobsonian mounted reflector like this one:

Bushnell Telescope 78-4678

A telescope like that has a very narrow depth-of-field, so you need to focus very, very slowly to be able to see any image. Try focusing on something bigger (like a spot on the moon) and adjust the crosshair accordingly. The two eyepieces gives different magnification.

I have the same Telescope and am looking for lenses

If the opening is about 1 inch then you need eyepieces that are .965 inch --

The common sizes are .965, 1.25 , and 2 inch.

.965 eyepieces are available for purchase on Ebay and here:

Things are upside down looking thru the eyepiece on main telescop

If things are upside down in your telescope, you probably have a reflector telescope.it has curved mirror in the sealed end.take off the cover near the finder and point in the general direction of what you want to see.Make adjustments with the stuff on the mount. If you are viewing terrestrial objects, you will need an inverting lens to correct the image. It is called a Barlow lens and is much longer than the other lenses that come with the telescope.Good Luck

I cant see clearly in my telescope not matter how much i adjust the focus lines

If it is a focused image but hazy or foggy, you have to clean the optics in your telescope. If you have a focus problem but a clean image, then you are having travel limitations of your focus equipment usually rack and pinion. Wearing eyeglasses can also effect that mechanical problem and so does other added components like "Barlow Lenses" that are used to double or triple eyepiece magnifications. You might also have the lenses in the optical system not in the right order or direction when it was taken apart.
