If the air-hammer is working fine at first but then starts to fail as you use it.
I would look at the breaker unit, see if it is covered with frost. These units require a lot of air. A 1inch hose is usually used to connect it to the air supply. If you are not using an oiler, that could be the problem.
Check that the hose is in good shape and is free from damage or kinks.
Check the air gauge and see what the compressor is creating for air.
The compressor should be building and maintaining 125 to 175 psi.
I am guessing that you have this hammer hooked up to some type of worm drive system. Let me know if I can be anymore help.

Oops, no problem, well when you get an air breaker you will know what to look for.
But I'm sorry but I'm not too familiar with the electric version.
If you still have the owners manual then take a look, it may need only to be cleaned and oiled. Is it an older unit or newer one? Makita's web site or customer service dept. may be able to help you.

Generator electrical problem

No it sounds like the engine is losing power, as the RPM drops the voltage drops, this increases the current load and that trips the breaker.

What kind of vehicle. Power windows are normally run through a circuit breaker. Is the lockout button on the master switch depressed causing windows not to work?

Tripping the breaker

Could be a number of things but I would first suggest that you check the plug (from the TV) for wires touching inside ie: neutral and/or earth touching the phase terminal and/or damaged cable.

Hope this helped

Wiring outdoor motion lights (with 14/2) to a nearby outlet (possibly 12/2)that has power. After wiring into outlet and turn on breaker, I lose power, but don't trip the breaker?

First take a cord and hook it to the motion lite and make shure it works .Remember that it only will work at night or dark area and you have to have lights in the fixture to make the contact.and make shure the plug is not on a dimmer or the wires are flipped. WHT. To the common side and black to the darker side and it has to be grounded .exspeacily if it is a led fixture.

Not getting hot

first make sure theres 240 volts at the dryer plug in ,if not then try resetting your circuit breaker ( or fuses ) if its electrically heated (not by gas) and is plugged into a 240 volt receptacle as even though the breaker may not show its tripped by the little orange window on the breaker it can lose one phase of power ( 120 volts) and still turn but it needs both phases to operate the 240 volt heating element,if you lose one leg of power ( 120 volts ) either the drum will turn or the timer will run (but not both ) because each of these parts only operate on 120 volts or one leg of the 240 volts

DRYER WON'T START

it may be in the start button or it may be a sensor on the door is not working properly. you also may have a breaker issue. on alot of dryers you have a 2 pole breaker and if you lose one side of the power at that breaker it can lose some of its capacity to operate certain functions on your appliance

I have a 5hp 26gal campbells it hums when u turn it on it will either trip the 20 amp breaker or it wil start up most of the time it trips.is it that the breaker is too small or something else.please help.

Could be a couple of things, first, a cord, It might be a 20 amp breaker but if it goes through a cord, it loses amperage and will not start. It needs about 16 amps to start and then about 13 to run. Will it start by being plugged into the wall? Second, let the air out and see if it will go, too much back pressure, not enough power. third, make sure it is warm, We used to heat a bathroom on the job just for the compressors in the winter, of course we all went in there to at break time, only warm spot in the house. And last, If the capacitor is bad, it will lose it's power, but I would check the rest first. Hope this helps.

The dryer keep tripping the breaker

It sounds like the current draw is too high This would be due to overload of dryer, motor overheating binding of the drum assy.. First re level the dryer, next disconnect the power and Vacume out the lint inside around moter, try spinning the drum manually to see if it moves freely( some resistance is ok) Another possibility can be lose electrical connections on the breaker or outlet. Disconnect power before testing. Let me know if these tips helped solve issue
