getting offline in the sense if u not put ur sim inside the cell it turns to offline mode. and again after v put the sim inside it asks whether to continue in offline or not. u need to give No..try it out..

well try changing sim or try different sims. if problem remains there try formating your phone

Here’s how to hard reset or format your Nokia N70 mobile phone:
1) Switch off your phone
2) Press and hold these 3 keys together:
-green dial key
-the star key(*)
-the number 3 key (Ugh, I wish I had three hands…!!)
3) Power on the phone
Warning: Do not release the keys until you see a formatting screen and even after the phone has started. Wait until the initial sound starts to play and the hand animation is disply

make sure that you copy all your important contacts, notes, calender etc in your memory card. your battery should be fully charged and remove memory card before formatting.

you may have a poor signal or try inserting a different sim card, if same problem arise, maybe you need to update the phones firmware

Hi there,

Your phone is offline if there is no SIM card present that has been inserted in your phone or the SIM card has failed to register in your phone.

To change it back to online, press the power button and a menu will pop up, go down and select a profile like Normal, Silent or any other option that isn't Switch Off or Online. Doing so will resume connectivity with your network service provider.
