Anti-Virus paid for Norton says my Product Key is invalid

If it's expired it means you have to get a new one, most anti virus software are sold for a limited amount of time. Either way Norton is no good, I run Avast free edition and I never had any problems, you should get it too, and if you feel like having even better protection you can buy avast for life for only 65 CAD, which I bet is less than Norton.

I paid online sept.7/09 keeping telling me my supcription has expired. gave me a temp.password to access my acct. dont work either, terrible service will get another anti virus

Norton is a very difficult software as well as a Hog... it can slow down your system anyway.
AVG is a Leader Globally... they have a Free Version and a Paid Version. The Paid Version is nice... you get a firewall and a web browser protection package.
If you are keeping you system updated and you maitenance regularly the free version will work. If you have several people on the system... kids primarily... I would purchase the full package.

I have a norton acct have new laptop how do i

If you installed the program and have registered it before, the company will recognize your email address and will allow you to activate it.
Your email is generally how they identify you.
If all else fails, contact Symantec and they can help you through it.

NORTON 360 STATES 'PHISHING PROTECTION EXPIRED' WHEN IT HASN'T.

This is a billing problem on Symantec's end that neither you or we can resolve. You will have to contact Symantec (manufacturer of Norton) and ask them to kindly resolve this issue. You will have to provide proof of purchase and all that good stuff. Their contact details are located on this web-page. As long as you paid for the Norton 360, everything is bought and paid for until the expiration date and shouldn't expire prior to that date (Unless this is a new business practice of Symantec, wouldn't surprise me you know).

I just have to say this, though. You would be better off with ESET's Smart Security. Uses less system resources and does a much better job defending your system from attacks.

I hope you get the issue resolved.

In my experience Norton can become flakey at times. Make sure your subscription to norton has not expired. Otherwise try un-installing norton and re-installing it. Part of it may have become corrupted.
