Question about General Electric DHDSR46EGWW Dryer

I have no heat in this dryer. Was working fine this morning then all of a sudden no heat. It isnt very old.

If you have a gas dryerI have no heat in this dryer - 2_bing.gif.
The most common problem with a gas and no heat is the ignitor going bad...

No heat


check the vents ductwork It maybe clogged up full of lint causing the heating sensor to work properly. If clogged up and cleaned it will work again for you

first thing go to elc panel breaker box make sure breaker isnt triped if it isnt u either have a heating coil out or the heat sensor out

An indesit tumble dryer, only blowing cold air.


Most likely heating element or thermal cut-off is bad, or both.

Just another damb heating problem


on gas dryers there are two coils on the burner assy. (small black cylinder with two wire haness) one opens initially to allow gas for ignition after that the flame sensor will allow the secondary to open for continuous flame i suggest replacing them both
