    1. Turn the
calculator off and tear off the

    excess paper.

    2. Remove
    the printer cover by pressing

down on both sides of the front edge and

    sliding back in the direction
    of the arrow.

    3. Remove
the old ink roller by lifting with the

    removal tab.

    4. Insert
    the new ink roller into
    the
    compartment and press down
    gently
until it snaps into place. Close

    the printer compartment.

    Note: The old ink
rollers should not be refilled. Replacement rollers can be obtained from your

    retailer.
The warranty does not cover ink roller replacement.

In ma laapi i m not able to make a slide show help me

Put all the pictures you want in the slideshow into one folder.

To create a new folder just RIGHT MOUSE CLICK on an empty spot on your desktop, scroll down to the word NEW, then over to the word FOLDER and click on that.
The new folder will appear on your desktop and then you just name it whatever you want.

You can either drag your photos into that folder with the mouse or COPY and PASTE them there.

Now double click on the folder to open it up.
On the left hand side of the page under expand the PICTURE TASKS menu.
In there you will see an option to VIEW AS SLIDESHOW.
Click on that and your slideshow screen will appear and the slideshow will start playing.

The PLAY (start slideshow) button will be in the upper right hand corner.
The PAUSE, NEXT PICTURE, PREVIOUS PICTURE and the CLOSE SLIDESHOW SCREEN buttons will be up there too.

Good luck and please comment back and rate if this was helpful or if you need further assistance.

Hp photosmart c3180 just hooked up, new, comunicates with computer on all levels. print or copy will not put anything on paper, goes through all motions but does not put anything on paper, new supplied ink...

There is no reason for it not to print ink onto the paper unless it's defective or both carts are dried up. I would return it for an exchange.

Hope that helps...

I have a canon mp460 printer that i have just re'filled and i am still gettin the 'ink running low' message on screen. how do i resolve this problem?

On the maintanance screen is there a "Ink counter Rest" tab. It must be clicked on as soon as you put the cart back in.

I also got the following from a website out there:

1) Enter SERVICE MODE by pressing sequentially Menu Copy Scan Copy Copy or Menu Copy Copy Copy Scan (on some models)
2) Select TEST MODE.
3) Press ‘+’ 8 times till ‘Select [8]’ PRINTER TEST in TEST MODE.
4) Select 3. [EEPROM CLEAR].
5) Select 0. [INK COUNT].
6) Press the [OK] key.
7) Press the [Stop/Reset] key (returning to the state of 3)), and then press the [ON/OFF] key.

Hope that fixes it for Ya...

HP 7280 two-sided printing instructions

I just got off a live chat with a HP tech, Seems the 7280 prints double sided from a file only. It WILL NOT copy a double sided document loaded into the document feeder, or onto the scanner. Bummer. However 7280 is still a fine printer, and I have owned it since first hit the market, more than a year ago.

When the printer runs out of ink, the head moves accross as normal to let me change the ink, but while I am trying to change the ink cartridge, the head starts moving spontaneouly and jams with the ink...

Printers can do strange things, they are none the less mechanical in some respects. Whilst in operational mode, they can start up and resume a print job that has been spooling for hours ( usually due to network issues or overloads ) but getting back to your problem, i would suggest turning the unit off when the head is in the correct spot and insert the cartridge.

Additional info ( not required reading )
I have one theory is that most manufacturers are re-using older software drivers and updating where needed, and aren't getting away from the step by step type program enough. If a printer misses a step for whatever reason, it will continue to behave strangely until the unit has been put back in sync. Please someone tell me why is this so ? and if i am wrong, why does my printer fire up in the middle of the night, spit out 10 blank pages for no apparent reason ?
