Could be a couple of things.

Step 1. Check to make sure the speakers are plugged in all the way into the aduio jack.

Step 2. Ensure the audio cable is plugged into the correct audio port.

Step 3. Check to ensure that the speaker knowb is turned up.

Step 4. Check to ensure that your volume on your computer is turned up.

Step 5. Check to ensure that the volume on your computer is not muted.

Step 6. Check to see if your Audio hardware is enabled on your computer.

What your updates describe sounds as if you may have a corrupted file. However, before we start getting into the deep parts of your operating system, lets try a few things first.

First, on your Desktop, right-click on Internet Explorer and select Properties. Next, click on the Advanced tab and scroll down until you find the Multimedia section. Make sure there is a check in "Play Sounds in Webpages". Hit Apply, the Ok. Close your browser and open a new one and see if you get any sound from the website you are having problems with.

I need the driver for it, i have no sound

Anonymous,
There are no drivers for the A425 speakers. Make sure the power cable is attached to the speakers as well as the speakers plugged into the correct jacks. If your speakers are plugged in and powered on and u still have no sound; check to make sure the sound card drivers are installed.
Thank You,

Phonic Helix Board sound problems

You don't specify which model Phonic mixer in question.
Is it a powered mixer ? And are you plugging your speakers into the speaker outputs ? If it's not a powered mixer and you're plugging speakers into the Line Outputs, you're not using a power amplifier between the line outputs and your speakers - this won't work.
If it is a powered mixer and you are plugging speakers into the speaker output connectors and still getting little or no sound, check your speaker cables and the speakers themselves by plugging them into known good amps.

No sound through external speakers

Although some monitors have built in speakers, most people have stand alone speakers. If the old monitor had built in speakers and now it is unplugged you won't hear sound. Even if the speaker cable is still plugged into the sound output on the back of your computer, the monitor must be plugged into an electrical outlet to have power.

I'd recommend buying a new set of external speakers if this is the situation.

If you never had speakers built into the monitor then normally changing monitors would make no difference whatever. The only explanation that makes sense under those conditions is that in the process of replacing the monitor, you dislodged the speaker jack from the sound output on the back of the computer.

Make sure your external speakers have electrical power plugged in, the power is on (green light on at least one speaker lights up) and the volume on the speakers is at least half way up.

Unplug the speaker from whatever hole it is plugged into and plug it firmly back in and test sound.

If still no sound other than some static on the speakers, try every single hole on the back of the computer that the jack will fit properly and test for sound.

Let me know if you have further questions.

Help with speakers!@!@!@@!!

The odd plug coming out of the speakers is to connect to a power adapter to power the speakers, the other is to plug into the output plug of your sound card. Normally this is color-coded on the back of the computer in a light green colour.
