    error code F-1

  • Anonymous Aug 11, 2008

    I have the same problem. But over the weekend this peice of **** dishwasher ruined my hardwood floors through out my kitchen. I fixed the problem I bought a new Kitchen Aid and threw the Fisher Pykel out what a piece of garabe. Any company that has no tech support or customer care should be a red flag. I would like to ship this junk back to the manufacture and let them know what a piece of **** this product is.

    I have a Kitchen Aid dishwasher am getting an error code F reading.  I was told this is related to water pressure.  We've checked the water valve and it seems okay.  What now?  We can't even pull the dishwasher to pull all the way out of the cabinet so we can see whether there is a problem in back!  Any ideas?

Machine displaying f1

The F1 error refers to 'internal flood.'
You may wish to reset the power of the unit, this may clear the error code.

One common cause is too much or 'wrong' detergent causing too many suds. In this case, giving the unit time and a reset is all you need to do.

You may wish to check under the unit to look for a tray with a widget floating in it. If you find such a tray, empty it & cycle the power to reset the F1 error.

I hope that helps.

I have a f1 come up and a f2 on my dishwasher what is it

f1 = Flood Code

This means that the dishwasher most likely has a leak

There is a float switch in the bottom of the machine and when water gets down there it trips the code

F2 = Roter not moving

you can remove the basket and spray arm and pull the roter out and make sure its clean and give it a try.

DD603 Does Seal need replacement? F1 Error Code

F1 error code appears because moisture has been detected by the flood switch on the base of the housing under the drawer.

If you think the door seal was not fitting properly then that too can cause moisture leak into base of the unit where the flood switch is located. Steam condensation would also lead to moisture.

Best option might be to replace the door seal for the top drawer. This is not a trivial thing as the unit has motor actuated door seal which can be tricky to fit back in.

Also avoid foaming in the detergent by using the correct powder and not tablets.

Hi Both drawers show error F1 flashing beeping with rinse light on and both pumps run after power is applied to machine

F1 error indicates flood switch in base has activated, meaning machine has leaked. This causes machine to drain continously, and can only be stopped by switching off power. Not easy to fix if you don't have experience- bottom drawer has to be removed to access flood switch, then machine needs to be test run and checked for leaks. Best to call the professionals!!

Fi code washer wont stop beeping

See this site for a full explanation of how to fix this problem, I don't want to type it alll again. F1 error code is 'overfill' most frequently due to a clogged drainhose. If not see here;

F1 Error code on fisher paykel softouch dishwasher

F1 means that water is in your basepan--- you can pull the bottom drawer out and soak up the water with a towel... you will have to use a hair dryer to dry underneath the control sensor in the back left corner.

My dishwasher keeps flashing F1 error message

The f1 code is caused moisture in the electronics part most likely in the door.see if there is any way that you can see where moisture might get in and plug that spot up. In the case of the f1 code when not using the dishwasher leave the door propped open to help dry out the electronics.
