Question about Hisense TL1700 17 in. LCD Television
When i try to turn the tv on it turns on the off then back off and keeps going through that cycle how do i fix this problem
This is an easy fix if you can solder.there are three capasitors on the power board that need to be replaced. radio shack has them for about 2.00 ea . or you can contact me.

Replace the 3 1000 uf/16v electrolyte capacitors on the power supply board. They are all next to each other and are electrically in parallel.

HEY MARK TRY UNPLUGGING WIRE HARNESS ABOVE CAPACITORS 1ST IT WORKED 4 ME THEN PLUG THEM BACK IN AND PUT POWER PLUG BACK ON AND TRY THE ON OFF BUTTON GOODLUCK GLENN

MY T.V. BROKE ABOUT 1 YEAR AGO. I KNEW IT HAD FIXING, SO I DIDNT TROW IT AWAY.....THANX TO THIS WEBSITE I FINALY GOT MY T.V. WORKING AGAIN....THANX

Http://www.kpsec.freeuk.com/components/capac.htm this site is helpful, because instead of 1000uf at 25v, i used 450uf at 35v, for the three capacitators, and i used 220uf at 35v for the small one. one thing that is stressed is that you need a minimum of 25v or better. thanks fixya for everything.
