Question about HP L1706 17" LCD Monitor
Usually this is caused by having your keyboard too close to the monitor and the keyboard bumps the menu button..
look at the buttons on your monitor itself. One of them should say "menu" pressing that one again should close the onscreen menu. if that doesn't work look for another button marked "exit" or an "exit OR close menu" selection within the menu itself. Use the menu button to get in the menu, use the left , right, up or down to navigate through the menu and usually the "menu OR select" button to make chnages.
