Hi there,
Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Can't find question mark symbol...

Don't have one for reference, but from all the images online it appears to be located above the 'P' key. You'll have to press the blue function key to use it.

If that's the place that you were referring to, then my guess is that yours was made for use in a different region.

On a traditional QWERTY keyboard, the '?' key is interpreted as an accented 'e' if the system isn't setup for US English.

If the 'Function + P' shows up as 'e,' then you should check your console's language/region setting, set it to US English, and try again.

Ampersand is not where it should be on the keyboard

You could go for the default English(US) QWERTY keyboard layout and check,if the problem still persists ,try changing your keyboard(do this if you get the same problem on different operating systems.)

The language is on Spanish how to change it to English

I realize this may be impractical depending on your location, but I did accidentally set my cell phone to spanish once... so I brought it to my office where people who are bilingual work in our call center and help desk. I was able to ask one of them for help and resolved the problem quickly using the Spanish menu options.

Shift symbols wrong è:é"' instaid of question mark

Check which language your keyboard is setup to use:

Control Panel > Regional and language options > Languages > Details > Make sure your default input language is US English
Under Installed Services, it reads English / Keyboard / US

The above assumes you are running XP, if not, please advise and I'll be happy to modify the instructions.

To set the bilingual feature to either English or Español: 1. From idle mode, press and hold the OK Key [OK] to unlock the keypad, press the Left Soft Key [Menu], the Directional Key to select “Settings”, then slide out the QWERTY keyboard and press 3. Phone Settings, 2. Language. 2. Press the Directional Key up or down to select “English” or “Español”, then press the OK Key [OK]

Hope this helps, let me know if I can help you with anything else.

Bilingual keyboard

There is a small green Fn button near the start button you will have to use this with shift to use the green keys if you are in multi lingual mode, if you only use the laptop for french you can also change the regional settings for the keyboard to Just French and then they will work just by using shift.

Hope this helps FixYa,

Logitech cordless desktop mx 3200 laser keyboard - french characters

Its not the keyboard fault but your operating system. I'm going to assume you live in Canada and when you had setup the computer for the first time you had selected Canada has country you live in instead of the United States (default) If you notice on your desktop or taskbar there will be a keyboard logo. Click it and select US 101 keyboard (United states). You get the french symbols because microsoft thinks because you live in Canada you must be french canadian.... stupid eh! They have it selected to mulitlingual Canadian. Select the US English as default and you shouldn't get those french symbols when you really want the shift or question mark key.

I live in Canada and I see looks of people who ask me the same question all the time.

Hope this helps!
